The current list of updates are :
Enhanced graphics taking advantage of the Gamecube's advanced hardware. Including more detailed battles.
New events during the game. Could be side-quests, mini-games, story fillers, or whatever they can think of.
A new character, Piastol, a female headhunter out to get Vyse.
Faster paced battle (rumored) Sega said they wanted to make the Airship battles more action oriented, will we see it?
Expansion to the current story
New enemy character?
Puzzle added to the game, according to my rough Altavista translation.

I already liked the ship battles, but I hope they are not changed that much, just more of them.
