Ok Im calling out to all the gamers out there that love rifts or just wanna see what its all about, well basically for thos that dont know its a apocolyptic setting fused with magic and technology and of course the rifts ( dimensional portals to different times worlds and planes ) that are sent streaming through earth.
Well anyways in rifts atlantis has returned from the ocean now coursing with mystic energy, and is a haven for the Splugorth a supernatural alien intelligence that have conquered thousands of worlds and enslaved countless races of people intelligent and not alike. They deform and hinder or strengthen people through a secret process know as bio-wizardry ( only the splugorth can duplicate this knowledge, outsides who learn of the technique are hunted donw and killed ) Anyways back to Atlantis....When the Splugorth appeared on earth they found that atlantis was a holder of many ley lines and ley line nexus's ( these are kind of like the magical veins of the planet, nexus's would be when one or more of these lines cross over each other doubling the magic content by the amount of lines ) So they built a dimensional trade city to bring there influence to earth called Splynn after the Lord of this city Splynncryth.

Well "Splynn" is a city of demons and the supernatural and is by far my favorite place in the rifts world so what better place to start a campaign, im not saying that this wont leave Atlantis but it will give a good feel to the play style of the game. now for characters I will list some choices and please no one pick the same one. For those that dont know the game I will give a brief description of the races available and there powers etc....

Before I get to the choices just a little background, vet. rifts players please dont pm me asking to be "other" races im trying to keep this diverse and within a GM's control which vets should understand.
Ok first off this campaign starts in a slave den where you will have to learn to survive for no matter how strong you think you are there is always...ALWAYS someone 10x stronger just waiting for you to insult etc...... FBI warining........Explosions...........Instantly Killed............um I digress
You get the idea, atlantis is a savage place were the more powerful feed on the weak and as slaves your seen as nothing so please be careful wether you attack a acient dragon out of ignorance or not.

Now the rifts character choices are the following :

Quick-Flex (Alien)
A little shorter than humans but they make up for it with there
amazing speed, They basically look like humans except they have no nose just two slits on the face, they tend to be a little hyper-active.

Human
Goes without saying, but if you deside to be human you BETTER be a vet. because humans are the lowest of life-forms on Atlantis if your not SUPER careful you might see yourself being served as a buffet lunch item ( ACTUALLY HAPPENS!! )

Ogre
Taller than humans, stronger than humans but they dont have supernatural strength

Elf
Taller than humans but not a tall as ogres, they are known for there beauty and skill in the arts of archery

Goblin
There devious there short and there green and some are even a
evolved form of goblin called cobblers they are superb magic users
and shape changers but not as good as a changling.

Changling
Ok first off this is not the Changling from DS9 or anything like that the forms that you can assume are somewhat limiting to your size and shape ( example: Changlings are basically skinny humans, well ugly ones anyways but they have to retain there mass and weight to with 50% so if you wanted to reduce your height to a goblin that would 6ft to 3 ft right so its acceptable but you couldnt change to a 1ft faery or anything like that got it good.

Dwarf
There short not as short as goblins but they are tough! and have good minds for working with technology, but mostly focas on archaic weapons and armor.

THE CAMPAIGN IS NOW STARTING-----------------------------------------
You awake from what seems like an eternity of slumber, to the sounds of rattling and cursing. " Wake up you dregs " speaks a strong and course voice. * The blurred figure splashes water on you tro awaken you * " Its time to see if you are truely worth the money i paid for you " As you focas you see the blurred figure as a 12 foot tall red skined ogre with 4 arms, with quite then sinister glare in his eye. " My name is Braxus, know it well since I am your new master, do what your told and you will live, serve me well and you will live, excell in combat and you might even earn my respect, disobey me and you will be punished, run away and you will be killed you got that slave! Now follow me. "
*Braxus leads you to a large door built from the ground up, compossed of brass. * " Enter and wait, do not dissapoint me! "
The second you enter the room the door slides up behind you, you find yourself in a gigantic arena. At the other end you see a large door slowly opening. Inside you see 2 glowing yellow eyes staring back at you, you hear a heavy wirr of gears and then a voice cracks to life over head. " Ladies and gentlemen tonight we have a great show for you, the great Iron Tusk against the newest slave stock of Braxus, now let the games begin!

*He slowly enters the room. He squints his eyes until the adjust to the light. He then looks at the beast emerging from the doors on the other side. His eyes widen.*

"WHA...Whats that?"

*Through the darkness, grinding metal and snaping electricity can be heard. But this is soon drowned out by the roar of the crowd that surrounds the arena * Before you stands a 15 foot humanoid, metalic in structure, covered in small coral shaped pipes extruding from the calves and shoulders. You cant help but feel that this giant mechanical man has something magical to him. On closer glace you identify that this is not a robot but a cyborg of some unknown faction. The behemoth trudges intoi the centre of the arena and stands firm. " My name is Kanrie, you pathetic slaves havent got a chance, my master will be most pleased! "

*He lookes up. He starts to shake, but does not retreat. He holds his ground. Staring at the beast. Wondering how he was going to get outta this situation. He looked around, the crowd cheered and laughed at them.*

"....."

[Nostraglum]

He looks toward the crowd, and shrugs. He manuvers to the monsters right, trying to flank him

"Speed over strength. Let's do it."

[Nostraglum]

He continues to move, hideous beyond discription, from scars, or from just being born ugly, he moves with ninja like grace

"I am Amano Jyako!! I'll take the right, you take the left. If He focuses on one of us, that leave him open" He yells at his ally

" Your planing will do you nothing! "screams Kanrie while leaping a good 20 feet directly toward the elf, hands outstretched for a tackle.

*His eyes widened as he seen the beast coming. He looked the beast sraight in the eye then started to sprint to get outta the way. At the end of his sprint he dived then quickly turned around, making sure that Kanrie has missed. He then quickly began to flank Kanrie, he flanked to the left staring down the monster as it slowly got up.*

"ha, your fast for such a little one, but you didnt dodge as well as you think" *looking toward the small elf's right side* in kabuki's haste in dodging he didnt notice that he got a glancing hit to his right side of his chest, and it hurts like cr@p man! * Kanrie now stranding again raises his arms wait level and starts to morph one of his arms into a cannon *

*He glances at his side. His adrenaline was pumping so fast he didnt feel it. But when he looked at it he started to. He continued to flank around the huge beast, trying to focus out the pain.*

* Kanrie turns his back to kabuki, aims and fires a streaming orange beam from his arm straight toward amano * " your even smaller than the other and dam are you ugly, hehe "

[KabukiOwari]

"Hes ugly look at you"

*He runs up to the beast and jumps on his back. He grabs his sword and with one hand swings it at Kanrie*

[Nostraglum]

"Ha! You are dumb as you are big. Im not ugly, I"M HIDEOUS!!!"

*He jumps to the right of the beam drawing his gun in mid air and fires at the beast shoulder with deadly accuracy

As the plasma hits Kanrie's shoulder, it releases a pressurized canistor within releasing steam from that region, but doesnt seem like it damaged his armor overly, kabuki's strike hit clear and true sending his blade 2 inches in his back, but to kabuki's dismay he finds that it is embeded inside the armor.
* All the while, Kanrie is thrashing around screaming trying to get kabuki off his back!, luckily the steam seems to be disorientating his optic systems. * " you dirty scoundrels you can't beat me, no way, your nothing but a bunch of weaklings! "

[KabukiOwari]

*Kabuki hangs on to the hilt of the sword. The blade slightly going deeper as the beast thrashed about.Everyonce in a while he tried to pull the blade from Kanries back but it would not budge.*

"...DAmmit..."

[Nostraglum]

*Amano manuvers around the monster to avoid hitting kabuki, and fires ablast into his other shoulder

"Come on monster, FACE ME! or I'm I too scary for you?!"

[KabukiOwari]

*He continues to try.But he fails to succeed. *

*enraged, by Amano's insults Kanrie mentally switches his SRM systems online, opening his breast plate to reveal a missle rack of 6 * " Now you fools will die! "

[KabukiOwari]

*He finally rips the sword from Kanries metalic flesh. He runs up on his shoulder then jumps off. As he is falling he flings the sword at the beast's missle...He smirks as he falls.*

[Nostraglum]

*as kabuki throws his, amano leaps to the side firing a blast into kanries misslie rack

[KabukiOwari]

*He lands and quickly starts to flank behind Kanrie. Just in case those missles fire he would behind him...*

*obviously the missles werent meant to take that kind of punishment, and explodes in a blinding white and blue light, folowed by a distortion ripple in its wake, knocking both kabuki and amano into the far walls of the arena. There is silence in the now smoke filled arena no one can tell who has fallen or where! *

*Kabuki lays face down on the ground. He coughs, then slowly gets up. Holding his left arm with his right.*

"Whoa...that was huge..."

*He coughed some more then waved his hand trying to clear the smoke away from his face.*

* in the distance kabuki, sees a large shadow through the smoke, but cannot distinguish it beween Anomo or Kanrie, whatever it is, it doesnt look like its moving *

*He squints his eyes.*

"Theres no way Kanrie could have survived that. No way in hell..."

*He assumed a defensive stance.He was ready for anything.*

*amano gets slowly to his feet, groggy from the impact from hitting the wall, and peers into the smoke looking for signs of movement
he then moves to teh left of where he landed

"Kabuki?"
"I think we broke his toys, but be cautious, the stupid normally dont know when there dead."

*He smirked at Amano's comment. Still he stayed in a defensive stance. Amano's comment was sometimes to true.*

*Amano moves around the large shadow, heading towards kabuki

* With jerky but swift movement Kanrie burts out of the smoke and rushes Kabuki and grabs him by the neck before he could react. Lifting him in mid-air almost strangling him in the process * "Fools I cannot be killed " *Throwing Kabuki into another wall, cracking a large portion of it with the force of the attack*

"kabuki!!"
*amono yells as he runs toward kanrie, as he approahs kanrie he moonsaluts over kanrie, firing down into the monsters head

*Kabuki struggles to get to his feer. As he does he notices something metalic on the groun. He slowly walks over, Still groggy from when he hit the wall, bends down and picks it up.It was his sword. He tried to smirk but couldnt he was hurt. He leaned against the wall, looking, wiating for an opening to attack.*

*Amano lands and manuvers in front of kabuki, trying to give him an opportunity to regainhis bearings

"Ha I cant beleive you actually scare people, you fool. I dont need size or weapons to scare people." AMano says to kanrie

" i will have to admit you have lasted longer than i had inticipated, but im bored and play time is over " * Kanrie slowly aprosches Kabuki and Amono, eyes alit with a burning fire of rage, steam still streaming from his shoulder.*

*he slowly makes his way beside Amano. When he did he quickly took a defensive stance.*

"We shall not lose so easy"

[Nostraglum]

*amano dashes between kanries legs and quickly turns around firing a blast into the back of its left leg at near at point blank range*

" Hamstring him!"

* Kanrie kicks backward and clips Anomo it the chest, sending him into the ground with a loud thud, but the plasma round to his leg seems to have thrown him a little off balance! * " Thats what you get dirty little back stabber , Im coming for you next elf!"

[Nostraglum]

"cough cough You will pay for that FREAK!"
*Amano yells as he gets to his knees, winded from the brute's attack*

*He smirks at the comment, as he quickly readies for an attack*

*Kanrie, squats down, open palmed and leaps straight up in mid air ( a good 50ft from robotics ), leaving his form blurred in the smoke rising above *

*He glared into the sky. He tried to closely wacth Kanrie.*

"Amano. Watch Him"

[Nostraglum]

*amano jumps to his feet and starts to run in a zig zag pattern while trying to keep kanrie in his line of vision"

"kabuki dont stand still!"

[KabukiOwari]

*He quickly started to sprint around the outside of the arena. *

"This guys is fast. He could come down from anywhere."

* You wait and wait, the smoke eventually dissapates, he is no where to be seen. On your second glace however you notice a hole in the ground, a slight rumbling can be heard, that rapidly increases to defening, with out warning Kanrie erupts from the ground like a rocket raises his hands and flings them at both of you, the fists detach and hit kabuki in the ribs and amano in the right leg, the force of the blow was incredible! The pain is numbing as you realize that bones must have been broken!
" Time to finish this " * energy crackles at Kanrie's arm stumps as two energy blades explode from where his hands used to be *

*He fell to the ground in pain. His ribs in pain, and if they weren't broken then they would have to fractured. His smirked wwas a mix of pain and a slight laugh. He picked his weapon from the ground, he held it in his right hand. His left hand ans arm held his ribs. He began a mad charge at Kanrie. *

"I shall not be killed so easily...."

*When he arrived in front of Kanrie he brung up his sword. Kanrie, with his massive energy blade, swung at him. But Kabuki was to fast. Kanrie let loose one more swing this one was closer than the pothers but it still missed. There was an attacking oppurtunity. Kabuki thrusted his sword into Kanrie's leg, destroy major accuators. As Kanrie stumbled from the attack Kabuki jumped and spung kicked the hilt of the sword. The sword sliced through the monsters leg, leaving a hole. Sparks flew from the hole. Kabuki then quickly ran up Kanries leg. He stooped when he stood on Kanries shoulder.*

[Nostraglum]

"Arg! that hurt freak! But it takes alot more then that to take me out!"
*as he gets to one knee, he readies his KEP special, even with a broken leg amanos aim is still deadly, he fires a series of shots into kanrie's face

*obviously taken back by such a combination of attacks, Kanrie falls backward onto his back, leavinga trail of smoke and sparks as he crashes into the ground, knocking kabuki to the ground. Raising his arms in defense, he begins to speak in a geared grinding tone * " Enough I conceed you are the victors now "
* The crowd roars with approval, but this is shortly changed to the chant of KILL HIM, WE WANT BLOOD, GIVE US WHAT WE PAID FOR DEATH!!!!!!! * * Kanrie Gets up to one knee as to wait for your choice, of mercy or death! *

*He slowly gets up. He drops his weapon, then slowly turns to Kanrie. He smirks then walks towards the exit. He has been badly injured, but he was determined to show no weakness. He placed his left arm across his rib cage. Then slowly walked to the exit.*

*Amano limps up to to kanrie, and puts his gun barrel to his head
"How many have you killed? Can you even remember? I have watched too many die at a monsters hands. May whatever god you believe in have mercy on your soul"
*Amano fires a blast into the monsters eye, killing him with more mercy then Amano would have recieved. Then he limps out the arena ignoring the crowd's cheers

( O.O.C.) Dont worry kabuki after every small scenario like this i will award exp. skills, its a modified rifts progression system that is based on the actions you do and the way you play the game. So basically I read over carefully what has transgressed and I will type in
( XPA: Person Name ):Swordsmanship +1, everyonce and a while I will give you abilities to choose from. Please keep track of your XPA (experience awards) On this progression system it will influence people to get into the game more and encourage detailed actions and carefull thought
There is also a alignment modifier, everyone starts at zero the values are like so: Neutral ( -5,-4,-3,-2,-1,0,+1,+2,+3,+4,+5 ),if you dip in either way you become either evil or good this should influence your reactions to other characters if there alignment is opposite to there's. ok now that everythings clear lets continue. (oh btw everything does have a life value im keeping track as you fight your enemies based on your skills, weapons and method )

*The crowds cries of enjoyment is distubingly like wild animals as you walk toward the exit. Waiting for you is Braxus with a big smile on his face. " well done my slaves you have appeased your master, hmmm you seem to have dinged yourself up a bit, you know how much of your value goes down when your all bloody like that! " * Braxus raises his hands that begin to glow with energy, soon after all your wounds are closes up and you feel full of energy * " There now dont say i never give you anything.......NOW GET BACK TO YOUR CELLS I WILL COME FOR YOU IN A MOMENT! * As you begin to walk toward your cells he grabs amano by the arm * " listen, mercy is for the weak in this world, if it was him in your position he would not have hesitated, but you will learn that i am a fair master and i wont make you kill as long as you stay alive and give a good show. " *With a grin he yells over to Amano * " Good fight young quick-flex i loved the part when his skull exploded covering you with blood, HAHAHAHA"

"and soon it will be your blood on my face braxus, have no fear."
*amano says, barely making a sound. And he walks toward the cells, memorizing every corrider, making a detailed map in his mind.

*He slowly walks down the empty hallway. He had been thinking of how to escape. He had made detailed plans in his head, but he decided they would not work. He heard footsteps behind him. He barely ans slowly turned his head. It was Amoano. He turned back, taking focus on the corridors.*

Quick Bio: The sole survivor of an ambused coalition squad near tolkeen. He accepts that he is now a slave but longs to return to his wife and young daughter in Chi Town.
Discription: The embodyment of a born soldier. Six foot, 190 lbs and nothing but muscle. The buzz cut and tatoo of a skull on his bicep help the image along nicely.

*He continues to walk.He turns his head towards Amano. *

"Yes he would of, If he could. He was down there was no use in killing him. He would have most likely died anyway. And if you knew or couldunderstand my pat then you would understad why I didn't kill him."

*He turned his head back facing front, still walking down the dark corridor*

*amano walks in front of kabuki, blocks his path, and looks him in the eyes

"I need only understand my past. Demons and monsters killed my friends and clansmen. I treat them with equal force. I dont kill anyone, only those whose intent is to kill me. Ive seen my family killed by those i could have stopped. My compassion was responcible for the deat of my clan, so when u judge me, think twice. I did not intend on killiing him. He set the stakes.
*amano lets go of his arm and walks away from kabuki, toward the cells

*After Amano's words he slowly continued down the path to his cell. He began to think of his past. He wondered why he had ever chosen the path that he did. No matter he had chosen it it was his destinym he has to deal with it himself. He can't expect others to understand nor help him.He had finally reached his cell.*

*As you rest in your cell, you cant help but wonder what deeds does this mysterious Braxus have in store, but all the while something clicks in that there are far worse slavers out there, there seems to be something different about this one. You wake to a loud thud in the middle of your cell there is a human laying on the ground and the shrouded siloet of what can only be Braxus standing at the door.*

"meet your new roomate, treat him well even though hes only human. Rest well my slaves there is a big day ahead of us tommorrow"
With that he slams the cell door closed.

"Hello friend, welcome to hell. I am Amano Jyaku. Here let me help you up." *amano says, extending his hand to the human.

*He slowly moves to a sitting postion on his bed. He turns to the human.*

"Hello"

ooc- sorry, I was busy all day and unable to check the board, I'll start up now.

He rolls over and looks around his new bleak surroundings. He then stares Amano's extended hand. After a few seconds of hesitation, he reaches out his own hand and grasps that of Amanos. "I guess we're in this together," he says aloud. He turns to kabuki. "hello." he then looks between the two. "My names Gregus Malcroy, and I guess we'll have to get along. right?"

[Nostraglum]

*amano, puzzled by Gregus' hesitation, shrugs at the comment
"why would we not get along? You havent done anything to me. If you were a demon, we may have some issues, but your human, so im alright." *replies amano, ignorant of Gregus' coaliation views

[KabukiOwari]

*He stares at the human for a moment, Kabuki then nodds. After nodding he laid back down his eyes quickly closing.*

"You might wanna get some rest."

*The night was cold and silent, and what little sleep you had was disturbed by terrible dreams of your death, the day came to quickly.* * The cell door goes clang as Braxus walks into the middle of your room, he closes the door after him * " Time to wake up, we have something a little more advanced for you today other than the basic arena combat, I have a errand for you I need you to deliver this scroll, to a friend of mine he owns and operates the rumble house, but be carefull this is a bar that some of the most powerfull supernatural beings come to....ehem start fights. His name is Varience a Temporal Raider if he gets a little annoyed by your presents just tell him your property of me and he will not harm you" * Braxus begins to fumble something out of his pockets*" but before you go you will need some special accessories"

*He slowly gets up from his bed and looks at Braxus.*

"I will hold the scroll."

*With those words he walked over to Braxus and extended his arm with his hand oopen.*

*Gregus sits up in his bed and grogily looks around. no, it wasn't a dream, this is reality. He looks to Braxus and listens to the errands that they would have to run with out participating in the conversation himself. He watches as kabuki walks forward asking for the scroll, at this point, gregus swings his legs out of the bed and stands next to it. silently watching and taking careful note.*

*Braxus smiles, raises his hands a blue light envelopes the room, to your dismay you find your paralyzed in your place!* "Dont worry i just need to put your accessories on" *Pulls out three small mounds of fleshy tissue* " These are Symbiots they will burrow into your neck and attach to your spinal cord, they will release plasma if you ever commit an act against me or commit any act outside of my wishes, such as leaving the city" * As braxus places each onto your neck you can feel it slowing burrowing into your body and moving down your spine the feeling is indescribable but not painful, you feel euphoric after the process * "Now thats that, ok my little friends you are dismissed!"

Gregus mutters to himself, "I think I'm going to be sick," and then slowly starts to walk to the door, feeling kind of strange.

*amano walks to the door, fingering his symbiote "collared like an animal........." *amano says under his breath

*He feels around his neck. Dammit. Now that totally f**k's my plan. I will i get this thing off, he said to himself. He snatches the scrol from Braxus's hand slightyly glaring at him. He then slowly began to walk out the cell door while placing the scroll into his pack. Then once again rubbed his neck*

* You exit the slave dens to a over crowded street, with thousands of people walking through out them, but this is normal in such a city with a transdimensional market place. The sun beats down with dry heat making your brow sweat and the amounts of people walking around you make it even more uncomfortable. Since you have no credits you deside to walk to the rumble house, which you only have a vague direction to guide you, you soon realize that getting lost could be a very difficult challenge in this mamoth city. As you stand and ponder what to do next, you see 10 overlords fly on overhead screaming something about "Thos dam circus freaks" They seem to be heading toward a large carnival down past the arena, why are they in such a rush to go to a carnival? *

[Nostraglum]

"sounds interesting........... the way I way I figure it, we weren't given an time limit. Let's go to the carnival." *amano says, then he heads toward the carnival at a brisk pace.

[Gingerbread Man]

*looks in the way of the rumbal house, then towards amano. He then turns to the Kabuki, swallows his pride and speaks* Well? you got the scroll. which means, I'm followen you.

[KabukiOwari]

*He looks around. He begins to think. A smirked grows across his face, then he begins to head towards the circus*

*looks in the direction of the rumble house and then towards Kabuki, he shrugs and then follows.*

* As you approach the circus you see that the overlords landed by one of the huge tents in the centre, the sights and well smells of this place is nothing short of amazement, there are many places you can explore in the circus which you find to be named BTA ( Big Top Achillies ), the large tent with the overlords interest this seems to be either a main attraction tent or maybe storage, the actor trailers are all clumped together forming a layered semi circle, children gather around to get autographs from there favorite magicians and the like, then there is the circus market where they sell there small little circus trinkets, there is one peculiar shop amoungst them tho, the animal cages strange undefineable noises come from that direction, filled with monsters and animals alike and last but not least there is the cafeteria and the management offices.*

*looks to the others* What are we doing here exactly? *he looks back around and see's nothing of interest. he pauses on the large tent and arches an eyebrow*

"looks like the show is this way. i want to get a better look. You guys coming?"
*amano says, and heads toward the where the overlords landed

*He looks around for a moment*

"Ya. No Hurry eh"

*Follows Amano*

*curses to himself and then mutters* I kinda don't wanna die *then follows after*

*As you approach the scene, you see the overlords crowding around a young gurgoyle ( gargoyle without wings ) he seems to be the stage manager. You can hear the overlords talk in a very demanding tone* " Where is the exibit! " " Dont you know this is a crime against the splugorth empire to put that on display!" * The gurgoyle cowers at there questioning and looks quite distrot, finally he says "fine take it". * one of the overlords goes into the large tent, while the others crowd around the stage manager* "heretic!, this is what happens to those who break our laws!" * As he shoots the stage manager in the face, killing him instantly *

*Gregus watches the scene with a bemused smirk, and then he starts sneaking around towards the tent and makes his way inside. He glances around to make sure no one's got a gun pulled ready to shoot him and then continues*

*amano sees gregus' actions, and follows him with ninja like grace

* inside the tent you see the overlord at a display, encrusted with precious metals and gems, enlayed with the words
"DRAGON BONE" Inside the display you see a grand skull of a dragon thats about 15ft long and must weight a ton!* "Foolish little circus freaks, how did you think you could get away with this." mutters the overlord as he trys to pull the bone free from its standings. *the tent turns red as a beam of light strikes the overlord in the chest, sending him into the ground smoking. Hiding in another display you see a small figure in ragged clothing step out looks toward you and puts a green finger to his lips*
*The overlords obviously saw the flash of light and will soon investigate, before you know it the dragon skull and the small figure are gone and lying at your feet is a dead oiverlord!, all you can think is damit this is going to fall into my hands isnt it?*

[KabukiOwari]

*He clenches his fist as he sees the overlord shoot the stage manager. He then begins to quickly follow his to comrades. In the tent he sees what happens to the overlord. A smirks grows acrossed his face. He then spots the person. His eyes widen as he next sees the dragon skull disappear.*

"Wha..."

ooc: god dammit

ic: *Gregus reaches for his pistol when he see's the flash of light and watches the Overlord fall to the ground. He pulls it out just as the small dude and the dragon skull disappears. He looks back to amano and smiles* we be screwed

"now is a good time to be somewhere else, damm. I always hated the circus." *amano says smiling, they he runs to the side of the tent where entered. he cautiously looks outside, checking for anyone who might see

*Gregus runs to the back of the tent and slides out under the wall. Praying that there won't be many people and especially no overlords on the other side. He makes it out and squints to adjust to the change of light.*

*You see that the overlords luckily went into the other side of the tent, immediatly you hear yelling and the like, knowing that staying any longer will result in your arrest, you make haste in leaving the carnival, in your wake you hear the crackle and sizzle of energy flying about as hordes of overlords kill everyone within the carnival area! As you leave and head toward the rumble house as originaly planned from out of the shadows the small cloaked figure appears.* " That was fun dont you think? " he says with laughter

*Gregus glares at the small figure* yeah, a real barrel of monkeys. now what was that all about? *he asks as he slowly moves his hand to where his pistol sat in it's holster*

*He glares at the figure. His eyes just now adjusting to the light. His facial expression never changed. He wasn't impressed by the small figure.*

"Quite. I realy enjoyed the killing overlords part. who exactly are you?" *amano says, standing confidently in front of him

"well met my friends, as you wish my name is Kret, son to a powerful avatar I need not mention his name yet, but enough small talk yes my father has shown some interest in you, I dont know why but thats his wish. He asks of you a trade......." *Kret walks over and places his hands together* "Father wants you to complete a task for him, in exchange for your freedom, sounds good yes?"

*looks at the small figure suspiciously, hand never moving from his pistol* just what kind of task?

"Yes, what kind of task? You need people like us, yet you can kill overlords easily. The task must be dangerous, and unconnected to you or your father, so you need strangers. also, if we are caught, you can easily blame braxus for it. excellent plan. either way youw in, yes?" *amano says smiling at the cloaked man

*He glares at the cloaked person that stands in front of him. Many things run through his mind.*

"Explain this "task" to me"

"well this task will determine on many things and I cannot say what it is now but I will send word to you in one way or another when it is time to preform my fathers task, for even I do not know it right now, what i suggest to you is that you keep your guard up and dont lead anything on to Braxus he may look just like an ogre but he is much much more!" * Laughs maliciously *" but anyways wait for me or one of my brothers signal and we will take care of the rest, for now just forget we ever met. Wait for the day when you will be...........free at last!" * With that he vanishes in a swirl of mystic energy erupting from the ground skyward, leaving you with nothing but questions and possible false hope*

*He glares around at the group.*

"Dammit. "

*He quickly turns his back kneels and slams his fist into the ground.*

"Fool. "

*He turns back to the group.*

"We have to hurry and deliver this scroll. If we wait to long Braxus may think we are up to something."

*Looks to the others.* ISN'T THAT WHAT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO DO THE ENTIRE FRICKEN TIME!!!!! *continues cursing under his breath and walks in the direction of the rumble house.

[Nostraglum]

*looks at Gregis "Relax. I'm sure if there was a time limit, he would have mentioned it. Besides, passive reistance is the only way we can resist. But we may as well get on with it." *amano says, and smiles "weshould always try to find freedom, even slaves cn be free."

[Kolodus Spite]

* You continue your venture to the rumble house, after about 1 hour of walking and searching you find it. Its a huge stone building with loud music eminatting through the walls, every once and a while you hear a great thud as something heavy is no doubt being hurled against the wall. The door has a 16ft tall Algor Frost Giant as a bouncer, clad in heavy plated mail welding a giant vibro claymore. *

[KabukiOwari]

*He walks up to the giant. His neck bent backwards so he could peer into the giants eyes.*

"We have a package"

[Nostraglum]

*amano stands beside kabuki, on his right, and looks at the frost giant

*gregus stood behind the others. looking up at the giant he felt very uncomfortable. I was just as tall as an enforcer for gods sake. Gregus looked around the street then back at the giant waiting for him to let them in.*

*The behemoth frost giant arcs his massive neck down* " a package for whom may I ask little friends?"

[Nostraglum]

"For Varience, thats who." *amano says confidently, easily familiar with temporal raiders, and there powers.

*He just stares at the frost giant, waiting for his reply.*

"you have a package for the master? Just leave it with me I will make sure that he gets it" * the frost giant says with a grin * " unless you would rather go in and find him your self" *roaring with laughter*

*A froan still on his face, he takes a step foward.*

"Yes. We will take it in to him. We cannot trust you."

*Gregus stops dead in his tracks...you don't call someone ten feet taller then you a cheat! He looks to Kabuki, "you're going to get me killed aren't you..." he thought*

"Well then, once more into the fray gentlemen."*amano says smiling, his enjoyment showing on his face, and he enters the rumblehouse

*He slowly follows Amano, glaring up at the giant for a second then back forward.*

*shrugs and follows the others* "they'll probably eat the elf first anyways" *he muttered*

*amano grinning, enters the rumble house, expecting to be attacked

*the frost giant snickers, followed by a long sigh* "alright go on in but dont say i didnt warn you!" * The bar has a drab plain looking atmosphere to it surronded by low lights and of course up turned tables, blood and the screams of fights breaking out every where. As you walk in you notice the bartender wiping out glasses in the back, but before you even start moving toward him, a lanotaur hunter stumbles infront of you with some kind of alcohol in one hand and a psi cola in the other, blurts out* " I........know you.......*hic*.......you owe me money and stuff........dont you?...........yah you must so pay me or............I'll shink of shomting.........*hic*........wat dont look at meh like that........"

[Nostraglum]

*amano smiles at the hunter and says "I doubt that friend. We are the..... ugh property of Braxus, and he wouldnt take kindly to you threatening us. perhaps one of us should mention you to him? I wonder what he'll do........."

[Kolodus Spite]

*The intoxicated lanotaur gives a confused look rubs his head, leans back onto a nearby chair and asks the next group of people the same accusation, all you can think is dam even the supernatural have bums*

[KabukiOwari]

*He smirks as he turns away from the lanotaur. He looks around the bar, there are bodies all over. He looked at the group.*

"Where could that dude be"

*looks around and then shrugs.* "I would guess towards the back...or maybe we could ask the bar tender. eh?"

[Nostraglum]

"heh.......at least we might live through this if braxus' name has that much influence......we should remember that. The bartender should know." *amano says smiling, suprressing a laugh, then he heads toward the bar

* You appraoch the bar with caution trying not to get into any fights, the bartender turns around to great you. he studies you with his 3 eyes and spider like features with a grunt he asks what will you have? ( because thats what soukies do )

*He stands in front of the bar. His hands are resting on it.*

"Hello"

" stupid elf I asked what will you have not, oh hows the family junk! now what do you want? "

"information. Where is Varience?" *amano asks, his voice tinged with a bit of arrogance

"Who wants to know, and just to let you know if your answer isnt good enough im going to blow you away right here and now!" *Growls the Souki bartender*

*Gregus sees the way the conversation is going and slinks back a few feet...but not to far into the general populus of the bar.*

"Messengres from Braxus, and that's all you're going to get. Now tell us where is." *Amano says looking into the monster's eyes.

" sheesh, that dam braxus always snooping into our buisness, and now he sends slaves to do his dirty work!, that guy is so low well anyways if your here representing Braxus then by all means I will tell you where the owner is "
*he motions to the far side of the room, where a door way draped over in red cloth lies* " That craft raider is in there but be wary he tends to be a little off his nut and may not be threatend by the name of Braxus beforwarned."

*He smirks. Then begins to slowly walk over towards the red drape. He hated people who thoguht he was weak because he was an elf. Elf's are the supreme race.*

*As you approach the drape you begin to hear a grinding noise, followed by some strange words you have heard used before by some of the other supernatural beings in the city, probably a language that is used so only they understand each other. As you slowly lift the drape a serge of energy appears in front of your face but disspates a milimeter infront of your eyes, you see the temporal raider (full body covered in organic plates including face with energy warping and twisting from the eyes). He is siting down before a large golem like creature who has a large spinning wheel in his chest, the raider stares at you while he sharpens a large sword covered in glowing runes on the wheel in the golem*
" What do you want and make it fast im so buisy, buisy, buisy, Glamal needs her daily atention, yessss she does"

[Nostraglum]

"we have a delivery for you from braxus. Give him the scroll Kabuki." *Amano says, looking bored

*Gregus looks to Amano and wonders, what's with the sudden high and mighty attitude. He then looks back at the temporal raider and the crazy gem incrusted sword.*

*He slowly reaches in his pack, his hand emerges with a scroll. He out stretches his open hand, as he peeks at the blade. *

"Here"

[Kolodus Spite]

*The raider raises a eyebrow at the outstreched hand* "how do i know this is not a trap? Braxus and I have nothing but bitterness for each other, and you being his property makes me want to lash out toward you in his stead"
*gives an inquiring look*

[Nostraglum]

"It is your choice to read it or not. WE had no choice but to deliver it to you, as you said we are his property. our job was to delivery it, nothing else." *amano says, acting as if he was more than a mere quickflex. Show no fear to a demon, and he'll wonder just what your packing.

" Very well i will accept this package and be done with you, your mortal stink is starting to sicken me!" *Grabs the scroll opens reads it and crumples it up and starts hacking it with his sword. All you can think is maybe its agood time to leave*

*Gregus walked swiftly from the room sweeping the curtains out of his way. he then proceeded to walk from the bar with all due haste.*

*He slowly lifts the drape, walking out. He once again looks around the room...then straight towards the door. He began to make his way to his door. A few moments later he was outside.*

*amano heads out the curtain towards the exit, cautiously making sure to avoid a fight. when he makes it outside he lets out a huge sigh of relief. "Thank god thats over with. I thought
we were bloodstains for sure."* amano says smiling, noticably relaxed

* You here the clanging of the raiders sword even as you leave the rumble house, outside Braxus is waiting for you * "Well done my friends, well done! Oh I would stand overhere if i were you." *Motioning behind him* * The rumble house starts to rumble even more than normal and energy erupts from the entrance, and with out warning the bar EXPLODES! in a array of blue-violet light, sending ash and charred corpses through the air*

"I thought you would have more finess, Braxus. But whatever works, eh? Are you sure he's dead? I've dealt with temporal raiders before and they have annoying tendency to teleport" *Amano says, almost as if he was talking to an equal.

" Perhaps we should leave. I doubt blowing up a building in splynn wil go unnoticed. "
