Nintendo finally gives us Demo Disks.

According to our inside sources within Nintendo of America, Nintendo has given the green light to companies to distribute demo discs.

The first demo disc that will be released will be Resident Evil 0. It’s unknown if this will be the same demo released in Japan, and it’s also unclear how these discs will be released. These demo discs could be distributed free in stores, part of a pre-order deal, or even available inside game magazines. This is yet to be determined.

It is also unknown at this time if Nintendo themselves will be releasing their own demo discs. We're keeping our fingers crossed.

well only official company magazines can give demo discs
(I.E. Official Playstation Magazine, ETC)
and if you and everyone considers "Nintendo Power" the offical magazine, then they might get it
(i'd like that sinse I get the magazine in the mail)

not really, nintendo said they would be free. They could give them away at stores, or send them to you in the mail or something.

Demo disks! Resident Evil Zero! Demo+RE0=Much Fun

I can't believe that Nintendo are finally releasing demo disks on the Gamecube, I mean, I knew it would never happen on the N64 as ya can't have demo "cartridges". But I'm in awe of all the Resident Evil, the fact that it's free is just an extra boost.

In japan they had some stuff out on demo disk's already.

But, also if you get some bike game, it comes with a godzilla demo.

I hope GC will get online with a RE game soon..ya could play RE0 with a kid in Korea or something...that'd be so much fun! ^^

Demo's make me slaver when it comes to games, I had about 1000 demo disks for the PSX. Finally a GC version! *Hugs Tru's little Samus avatar*

We only get demos with magazine's here.

Nintendo hasn't said how we will get the demo's yet. It could be in nintendo power, they could be for free, or just buy them like the ones on PS2.

Either way, I dont care.

I won a demo disk one time for GCN. If I remember it had Sunshine, Beach Spikers, and Smash bros... I think its been awhile sence I played it.
