i think its really cool, I think they'll make more FF games for Gamecube since Squaresoft and them have rejoined!

Well its good to know that the gamecube
Has decided to pull away from its 64 heritage of children games
and has started to create more serious games such as final fantasy etc etc

It looks all right , and I doupt that they will make many more Square games for GC. This game ain't goi9ng to get alot of recognizion because it's being released on the GC

Man nintendo is despret they take PLAYSTATION people only becuase they can not use there own people in an RPG that means that they would not be ne where with out the help of squaresoft, sega and other companies that are for other systems. they are just thefies they steal from the other systems.

Oh, so i guess sony is stealing because they get 3rd party companies to make an exclusive game or two huh? Or maybe M$ is stealing because they bought Bungie and Rare now, and Bungie made Halo for them, right?

ya know, i think maybe some bias is happening in video games because someone is too poor or cant afford another system, so that automatically means the other system is bad and it "SUCKS".

God your an idiot red. Square is third party. Sony doesn't own them. THey can make games for who ever they like.

They left nintendo cuz of some fight they had back in pre N64 times. But guess what. THey are back.

I dont hate the cube. But the reason i said that ff wouldn't get the attention is because its on the GC. By the end of next year around 61% of systems around the world will be PS2's. GameCubes are only like 16%, and Xboxes are doing horrible.

Your calling me a fanboy. What about you guys. You guys are all gamecube. Gamecube rules Whoa. Well how about No. You guys are stuck on gamecube. So you can't call me a fanboy for liking the ps2. So if im a fanboy your a fanboy.

ok no we arent fanboy for the cube. All we are doing is defending this system! I own a Cube AND a Xbox. And I admit I like the Gamecube better. It has the games I like best and the controller fits me best. I dont have a bias towards any system.

you are the one who is saying that a game and system has less potential than others just because its not PS2.

Actually i think this new FF game for the GCN has more potential and will be better than the rest.

For starters you can hook up 4 GBAs when you playing to see your stats and stuff. Now thats something you cant do on a PS2 ^_^ sorry i had too ;)

I will admit that I only own a gamecube right now. But that is cuz I just lost my job. I was seriously about to buy a ps2 or xbox. But I had to cancel those plans, But I might get one latter.

But I have never bashed a system, I might talk about games an ps2 or xbox, but I am bashing the game. What ever system it's on doesn't matter.

And cloud, one of my real life best friends, has a cube and a ps2. It's our choice that the cube has the better games. Sure there are games on ps2 that we need, but know what, we get them on ps2. I have nothing against the ps2. I just dont like people bashing the cube then they dont know any of the news.

The new final Fantasy has a heck of a lot more potential then any of square's recent games. Have any of yall seen that video preview on the japanese demo cd? It looks bad ass.

And why dont you want to be associated with RED?

I think that Square should have stayed with nintendo for just one more release, (the rerelease of FF2) I saw an image of what it was supposed to be in the new GI mag, and it looked sweet ass. oh well, I think it's kool that square is coming back, but I don't know if they are going to make a lot of games for GC, only because of the platform and it's past history with nintendo. i heard that the last two projects (FF:CC and FFTA) were being monitored like a hawk by nintendo, and I don't think square will put up with that for long. (I don't know if this is true, it's just waht I heard.) another thing is that they have made so many loyal fans in the past like what......6 years or so on sony formats. which means that a lot of Final Fantasy fans own PS2s. Granted a lot probably own GCs too I still have a hard time thinking that Square would ditch Sony. I think it would hurt their sales. (mainly cuz ignorant Sony freaks think that they are too good for nintendo now). I also think that they won't make many more cuz they (square) seem to be treating crystal chronicals as if it were a side project, like Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Hey, I'm not positive if that's true or not. But nintendo is involved some how. They are finincing for the develment of these games. (
They are not paying for these games. They celped square create a new compan;y called Game develoment studio. This isn't a real company, it's just a "PAPER COMPANY" being used to make positive that Sony doesn't get involved in the nintendo games. They are still being made by square.

I disagree, There might be some sony freaks, but there are square freeks also. They would follow them where ever they go.

What makes you think that? Mystic Quest was ment for first time rpgers. It wasn't spoce to be a real rpg. Anyways, nintendo has some stake in this game, and they sure as hell wouldn't let squares first new gameucube game be a dude like that game it.

Why can't we all just get along?......As if any of you didn't know.....if nintendo hadn't cancelled the Super Nintendo CD port, there would be no Playstation. Nintendo and Sony would have formed an unstoppable mass of gaming power, Dominating Everything dubbed "Gaming" and crushing any opponent Easily. No....Nintendo instead chose the harder path......that's the beauty of hindsight, folks. PS2 and PSX owners, if you don't know by now, the SNSCDP IS the playstation. So you shouldn't go around bragging about how much better your PS2 is than the GC, when all it is in the first place is a next-gen of the project scrapped by nintendo. Have some respect, folks. And just leave the Xbox owners alone, OK?

Baal Har out of the past 2 years of being with RPG chat im glad someone like u came along and explained to the idiots just what ps2 really is and just incase Tru Sayian gets on here yesss we have a ps2 only because of my fav anime series Gundam! did u think i could actualy stay away from Gundam games !? but! now of what Baal's info told realy gamecube made it and scrapped it...
