Am looking for a group to join, play etc. etc. Was hoping some people would like to join.

Is your game online or IRL? I am not too familiar with this board yet. I know this is the Pen and Paper section...:)

Same story here. I am planning on DMing an online game as soon as I get enough players (anywhere from 1 to 12...)
Alas, the interest hasn't shown itself yet. In the mean time I am also looking for a group to join...good luck to ya right?

You might want to try some of the threads in the fantasy area. They are loose form, but are pretty good.
I have a thread started on another forum if you want to check it out...www.blitzweb.org It hasn't actually started but I am in the proces of creating the characters right now, so if you want to play...

I'm interested in playing. I'm new to this, but have pretty much been bitten by the RP bug. I favor the GURPS system, but am willing to learn how other systems work. GURPS is very adaptable and would allow us a reference for resolving certain situations, but I don't have it mastered by any means. I thought maybe a real life campaign would be cool. What d'ya think?
Well, I have heard of GURPS but, frankly, I don't know anything about it. I have seen a couple styles of online RPing. One is very similar to standard Paper and Pen, where you tell me what you do and I respond, while the other seems to be where everyone is the GM, to an extent. I have a lot to learn. I am joining one soon and hope to learn from it. :)
I still want to do this one though, don't mistake me. :)
What do you mean by a real life campaign? Are you talking IRL? Or some adaptation of an Online game?

By real life i mean a genre that isnt fantasy or anime or mecha, etc. Just ordinary people in ordinary situations with ordinary weapons and so forth. More like a novel. People don't have to know how to fly or shoot lasers out of their eyes to be interesting. I would be more than happy to GM a GURPS campaign as I own the rulebook. With GURPS we can do whatever we want. If we want to take a 21st century scientist and warp him into one of Napoleon's battles, we can. Give me a shout and we'll get started.
Actually I would enjoy a Modern game. Although you'll have to familiarize myself with GURPS...
Sorry 'bout the double post. Chalk, we really should keep that in PMs now. Back to the origional concept, would you be interested in joining Aerric's game?

Well, I'm active, though the origional poster doesn't seem to be... I just sent him a PM to see if he still wants to keep this topic active. If not I will take over for him, as I have a few games I want to start...
He's not online right now, but he is still active on the board. :)
I created a paper/pen RPG and I wanted to test it out. If anyone wants to play, send me a pm.

Same troubles here. I've got a bunch of D&D Characters made up for 3rd Edition and no where to play them. I would be interested in any campaigns starting up.
