An interesting experince

For those of you who are looking for a place to play this wonderful game a place to play in a RolePlay based invironment, that is DM monitered adn also uses a special ruleset to the game to make it much more challanging I have found the ultimate server, if you consider yourself to be a high ccaliber Role Player and love NWN you should not miss out on the fold server, It is a wicked place to play and hone your RP skills, I play there along with a few other Peeps from RPGC, I warn you, it is hard!!!! It is also rewarding, becasue what you get there you most certinal earn, so cme play the game with me and a bunch of othert serious awsome Rpers

Did I mention you can play a Drow?, A Duregar,. A deepgnome? with specuial starting areas in the underdark and special racial ablitys?

simply go to GameSpy --> RolePlay --> Server = The Fold, see ya in game guys

I gotta second that opinion. I've played a lot with you on-line as well as many others -- good time to be had for all. I guess I'll add that you can also craft items -- such as weapons, armor, tanning, gemcutting etc. Very unique!

I will say though I've played on other servers but it's the community that sets it apart!

How often do you guys play online?
I've only played a little multi with one of my friends, it was cool.
Haven't tried it since I got my cable connection though, should be sweet.

I hopped on gamespy and went to role play but no servers popped up. Is that because I haven't updated in a while? I was under the impression that if you were working on playing through a single player game that you couldn't update mid game.

The first character I played with got to the Host Tower. Up on the pinnacle I ran into a scripting problem, and the walkarounds on the BioWare site couldn't get me around it. So I updated and started going through again, I haven't gotten to that point again yet, I put the game down for a long time because I was so frustrated.

Currently the game is patched 1.27 [latest patch] -- so if you don't have that patch then the servers patched to 1.27 will not show. Hence no servers...

Also when patching the SP game gets updated as well so I don't know if there is truth to that 'don't patch saying'.

I haven't even finished Ch 1 of the SP - to busy playing mutliplayer...

It's your call -- but if you wish to play multiplayer then it's something you need to do if you wish to play on other servers. I've been running 1.27 along w/ many others and it works fine. I've been running w/ this patch since early December.

The patch also comes w/ the plot wizard and if you're a builder it's a very nice tool.

But that is my two cents...
