Hi I'm New and need some help.

I have just started to here about pen&paper Rpging and I would like to try it. The only thing is that I don't even have a character yet. I do know the race and class that I want, but every thing else is far over my head right now. So if any one can help I would be in there deit for years to come. :extra11:

Tabletop or pen and paper roleplaying is done at home with several people. Get your hands on a copy of the Player's Handbook for whatever game you wish to play.

Or perhaps a better solution is to find a group of RPers who are willing to take a newbie to play. Ask around to find other RPers and to get them show what's played around there and who are playing.

Role playing rule books contain step-by-step instructions for making characters for those rules, but you should keep in mind that not many game masters are willing to take just any kind of character to their game. So for creating a character discuss with the game master. He will sure know the rules well enough for character creation and he will make sure that the character will more or less fit to the campaign he will be holding.
