Morrowind Gold?

I've heard rumors about this, but haven't come across anything official.
I'm wondering if anyone else here has heard of Morrowind Gold (for the XBox) and know some of the stuff that will be on it.

Tell me, will the new version(if there is one) have some of the expansions for the XBox, and will it fix those silly DDEs???

Alright....Now I've truly got some info.

There's still no Morrowind Gold....but there is a Morrowind Game of the Year edition coming to the box. It will include The Original Game, Tribunal, and Bloodmoon, as well as the ability to load off from the internal system one of your saved games and play it, completely compatable with the two expansion packs. A first in the world of Console Gaming.

This would kick ass, if I indeed owned an XBox.

Morrwind sucks. Period. the battle system sucks. The races suck. The level up system sucks. Everything sucks. Every single person in that game is like millions of levels above you, and I doubt you could keep anough interest in the god damn thing to even play it that long. Xbox does not suck, Snakeeyes. You can go to hell if you don't like Xbox.

Morrowind is only hard if you choose to make it hard... lead the right paths, and like me, you'll be able to slaughter entire cities efortlessly...........but i do have to say that the game seriously lacks a variety of monsters to fight....and the level system is better because oin most games when you level you get better at everything, in morrowind you only get good at the things you do....

What're you, kidding me? The battle system isn't all that bad....The Races kick ass (Especially Dunmer), and the Level up system is the best around.

I highly doubt that you can't beat a Kwama Forager while level one. You want to be able to slaughter a guard or two? They aren't exactly supposed to be easy, you know....Just train, like everyone else, and stop whining.

Yes, Meo, but haven't some people in this thread made it abundantly clear that their computers can't support the game? And therefore must get it for the 'Box?

Secondly, have you played an X-box console? If you have then your justified in your position in saying it "blows." because you can justoify your opinion, but if not, then you really have no real reason to say such thing about if you haven't so much as held its controller.

Despite the fact that it was made by Microsoft, the X-box is a damn good system, considering it can run games like Morrorwind, Enclave and assorted other RPGs like those.

I just can't believe Fable got pushed back... it look sooo awesome, I almost wish it'd come out right now. LOL.

But, back to topic. I haven't heard much about Morrowind Gold, but the end of the year edition sounds pretty damn neat-O. Particularly the Bloodmoon expansion part of it. That's enough to make me wanna play it reaaaaaally bad. My little brother was playing it awhile back, just regular old Morrowind, and when he was finished I was gonna play, but I guess I never got around to it. School and all. Anyways, hopefully once that end of the year edition comes out, I'll be able to snag a turn playing it.

I've already got the pleasure of owning both Bloodmoon and Tribunal. Damned fine expansions, I might say.

And yes, I have the right to justify that X-Box sucks (for I've played games on it, many a time). Not the system itself, but, as everyone else who hates X-Box has probably said, the game selection. Every good game X-Box has is on, or will be on, the PC, and is even better there...I don't feel like bashing X-Box all too much right now, for some reason.

And y'know....maybe if you didn't spend all that money on the X-Box (and accessories), and spent it instead on a good graphics and sound card, maybe a processor, Idunno, then maybe you COULD actually play kickass games on your computer! Wow! Ever think of that?

I wish they would've incorporated a map editor more like...let's say....SimCity 4....or....C&C Generals. I'm not a very big fan of the current map editor....

Well, a couple caffinated beverages later, accompanied by the loud music i so adore, i was able to re-build what i had lost....a no, i dont like the map editor either...i loath it.... its had to tweak miniscule details....hopefully they'll come out with a newer version later...i also dislike the way they categorize the static items, it takes me what seems like an eternity to get matching doors and door frames... but, alas i'll live

and, i have a question for you baal, if you use the editor alot. If i alter the map, and save what i wanted, close the program, and come back later to change some more and save again, however iw wont let me save to the same file, says something about "blahblah.esm is a master file or is in use, choose anotehr directory to save to"

thing is....its not pluged into the game... any idea's would be great...couldnt find anything about it any where else and the tutorials really are useless

first off, Valero , chill out... I agree that the X-box is a good system but it is pountless to get an X-box when you have a High-end computer like mine. Secound The Game happens to be very good... I admit it has it's flaws but what game doesn't. Infact I reseantly started blaying the game again for the 5th time now.

I played Morrowind and Tribunal on the comp and loved them, though the world was a little too insanely massive for my liking, but still, I doubt there is anyway it will be able to compare to Fable once it comes out *drool*
