If I knew where C4lif0rn1a was, I could help. If you mean Northern California, there are about 20 or so LARPS going on in and around San Fran, most have web sites.

Do some web surfing....most LARPs I have participated in had web sites with information for new players

Check out NERO. Go to www.nerolarp.com and click on chapters.
They have chapters all over the country and even in Canada. I know all of this because I'm an avid player ^_^
