The ps2 has all the game titles and etc,

yet the Xbox has better hardware, and i heard they're also getting all the game companys to sign to them also...


I just can't decide! Help me!

the x box is pointless. at least ps2 can play dvd's AND ps1 video games. AND regular memory cards, AND ps2 games and memory cards, AND cd's...so there.

I like the PS2 as well, but I thought I say something about the X-box. I hate to say it, but in hardware it kicks the PS2's ass..
You don't need a memory card with the Xbox because it comes with a built in 8 Gig hard drive! It is also a DVD player and plus it plays music CDs. To add on to this, in a few months a modem is coming out for it and its a broad band! To push the over kill even further. PS2 has a 300 MHZ processor while Xbox has a 750MHZ processor with stream line video card! Plus the game format for Xbox are the easiest for game companies to produce while the ones for PS2 are the hardest. I really love PS2, but facts are facts and the Xbox just plain kicks..
Now that doesn't mean go strait out and get an Xbox, remember that the Japanese companies like to help other japanese companies. Its apart of their combined theory of keeping exports HIGH and imports LOW. Microsoft is an American company which won't be to popular with the Japanese gaming industy. Sad but true.. These are also simple facts.. Xbox is going to have a hell of a hard time getting any really good companies to sign up with them, but then again.. Xbox has Bill Gates and his huge empire of MONEY behind him and now is the simple game of waiting. Lets see if the Japanese honor of keeping their products to their consules can be bought out. To be honest, it can and will be.. I feel that in the end Xbox will probably be the dominet system, but for now PS2 rules the market.

GameCube has good games for it(can't understand Pikmin) like Super Smash Bros. Melee. That is like the best game I've played from Nintendo yet! To tell you the truth i don't care if it plays ps1 games, uses ps1 controllers or etc, because i already knew that... but i still have my ps1... so its all good.

And the only reason i haven't bought a xbox. Is because I am waiting to check how future games are going to be...

I'm not about to throw away 300 dollars to a system with no games, yet i'm going to try to get the best system i can. It isn't like i have a job or anything (ugh washing dishes SUCKED!)

I got my ps2 on launch date and it has plenty of bugs.. like if you play for more than four hours or on it's side it will warp the discs.. and other things.... tho it is great! Just a few bugs you know?

you have quite a good games on PS2,like FFX,Grandia II,Shadow Hearts,Jade Cocoon 2,Halo,there are more RPG's on PS2 that are kick ass games (well halo its not really an RPG,its kinda adventure RPG i havent played it though)plus the upcoming FFXI & FF XII,PS2 its the right choice just give it a try:burger:

i agree with all of u. it turns out that half of the good games on xbox(there are like 4 good games)are on computer. And computer games cost alot less. And any other good game xbox has ps2 has the same thing, a equal, or one that blows that one to hell.

I've liked the graphics on X-box better, but that's all I can really say about the system. I love Halo, I love FPS, but I love Half-life, and UT, and personally the computer controls seem better for a FPS in my own opinion. :extra11:

True, but the problem is personally I know amoung my friends that as far as computer graphics go you have to keep updating with the lastest graphical card, and Direct X just kills systems now. So many problems with their processor speed, and compatability. I personally love games ont he computer, but when you start having problems with you computer and can't run them at full power, you prefer to console them lol

halo is coming out on the mac comps this fall, so don't get an xbox, get a ps2, it has great titles like ff10, gta3, devil may cry and many others, xbox dosn't have a cooling system either, giving ps2 another advantage

Yup, you have to buy the remote controller. Which was rough to even find at first, so that caused a little frustration. >_< I bought both the X-box and PS2. So far my X-box is just being used as a DVD player. :extra11: And my PS2 is actually the only system I can actually play the games I like on it.

Halo was the best game for X-box, and now that it's on PC *drools* I prefer the PC.
