got mgs2 and near the begining i already stuck which is new to me cause in the first one it never took me more then 10 minutes to figure stuff out.
Well for anyone that has it i could use ur help. After u beat that russian chick and u gatta get thru that lazer grid thing buy "shooting the green light". Well i shot the thing with the green light and the lazers thing is still there. I don't wanna go to gamefaqs cuz....well if u ask ur friend for help its not cheating as bad. anyone know?

if u do play a non rpg do play mgs2. It was awsome. More plot twists then anything ive ever seen. The ending wasn't as good as the first one. Well actully i am not sure. Cuz if its like the first one it has two endings that u can get. I'll have to beat it again once my brother is done with it.

if your wondering if mgs2 gets harder... IT DOES!!! here are a few things to remember:

1. when you have to get by the retinal scanner with raiden, put a guard in the choke hold and drag him to the scanner.

2. in your fight with fatman, get on top of some of the crates. that way he cant run you over with his skates.

3. where you have to disarm the laser beams the second time (the ones that set off the bomb) dont get frusterated. the sniper rifle shakes a lot, and the last green sensor is on the CYPHER, so it may take a few tries.

The game wasn't that hard actully. I beat it on medium in a 7 hours without saving. The only hard part for me was the swimming with emma. The last boss is pretty easy too.

the hardest part for me was figuring out how to get past the damn retinal scanner. besides that it was easy. they shouldv'e made the bosses hard. im playing right now on very hard. ive beaten the other levels.

yeah, mgs2 is such a good game, i'v already beaten it, the ending is really stupid , it totally confuses you, they don't stop talking for like an hour, and all you want to do is beat the final boss.

Im gonna get MGS2 hopefully by Monday from a friend, 35 bucks cuz he needs money to repair his PS2. Wheee. Its only short if you dont go for the dogtags...dogtags are fun to get. I havent been on lately because of MGS2...so funnnn. But anyway, you do fight Fortune. But, its a timed battle i think, not really sure, might be something else, but eventually the battle ends, dont worry. Stories confusing, only non-rpg game which has a plot that ive had to actually sit down and think about... and Im still thinking about it too.

Question...why the HELL was there not more boss fights!?!?!?! What happened to Vamp!? You shoot him in the head and he lived the first time...am I supposed to believe he actually died after I sniped him in the head a couple times? (I first aimed for his genitalia...he might live, but no reproduction! Darn Emma got in the way though, so his reproductive organs live on). But I wanted to kill Ocelot! And I wanted to fight the Ninja! Hideo never put to good use Raiden's tight ass moves! I wanted to use martial arts! You're never, at any time forced to use that, except when you're caught in the nude! I mean, c'mon Hideo! Sheesh. Another stupid twist was Liquid possessing Ocelot through the arm. How did that arm give Ocelot an accent, hmm? I dunno...I also wanted to use that sword more. The stun ability it had was utterly pointless. I wanted to go Ninja Berserk style on some regular troops!

But it was definatly the best game I've ever played besides the incredibly unusual ending and the lack of abundance in boss fights. I found some cool secrets. Anyone else notice the hidden panel that Snake can get into to crawl BENEATH the marines on the Tanker? Mmm hmm, I sure did! haha. Also, check out the marines closely, one of them is wearing a Kilt! We got Scots in the marines, which is cool. Well, for more secrets...just ask! Anyone else agree with my long post? Reply!

if you understood the story better youd know why. the ninja was good, on your side, and ocelot had to live, now the could be a mgs3, seeing as the ending really left s**t open, and the swords only purpose was to give you practice with it before youhad to use it in the final boss fight. plus, liquid had to live on, he died pretty easily in the first one, and they had to bring him back with more purpose. the only thing i didnt get was how the patrots had died about 10 years ago?

I understood all that, but I thought the game would be much funner if they incorporated more fighting into. Yes, the Ninja was good...but I liked Gray Fox MUCH better. I think that Hideo should remake the series, starting from the first, and maybe make a game based on Gray Fox completely. Btw, this is Tyrael. new name

Liquid snake is the worst name in the world. They used it only because its snakes brother. But the person that play liquid has a cool voice. Not as cools as snakes tho.

Solid's voice is done by David Hayter, i forget who does Liquid's though. Hm, I actually like how snake looks with mullet, dunno, guess it may just be me, i think his voice seems to fit him a little better the way he looks in 2. I'm actually someone who likes Raiden. I guess it's just me, but I like the heroes to be more realistic and not just some tough guy running around blowing stuff up with no fears in the world. well, mgs2's a great game whether ya like Raiden or not.
