Why Haven't They Made a Good PS2 DBZ Game?

Gee can anyone answer me this!? I know i like DBZ and with all the cool graphics and game engines out there they could make a badass DBZ game....3D Fighting environments......Lock on targeting for like close up stuff....Cmon people just look at the ZOE Engine....that engine would rule for a DBZ game....badass battles and its not hard to fight and look good in ZOE. I think they could really make a cool game with the PS2......

I don't know. The only video game for DBZ I have heard of is one coming out for the GBA, and the two on the Toonami website.

Citan is right, but I have only one thing to bring to your attention. Wether you know this or not, DBZ is DEAD in Japan. It hasn't aired any new episodes since 1996! Its up to Toei and Bird Studios to decide if a DBZ game is made for the PS2, and at the current time they will have to jog their memories just to remember what DBZ is! I highly doubt a game will be made, and the crap about Funimation producing one is lies. Funimation has the license to dub and sell what they are given by Bird Studios and Toei animation. To put it blunt, Funimation has no powers over the series at all! Only thing they can do is place law suites in the USA if it is illegally manufactured and sold. I hate to say it, but the chances of a DBZ game for the PS2 are highly unlikely..

ya dbz is gone in japan. But i pretty sure they are airing dbaf right now. I don't really like the db series to be honest though.

The DBZ game you mentioned on GBA is supposed to be an RPG.

ive heard of two fighting dbz games for playstation. i just think they could make a really good rpg. it would also be good if it was a mix between rpg and advebture/free roaming. i kinda think a dbz game would be better if there was no battle system, and you just fought when you see an enemy.

the ZOE engine would work great actually. The fights in it are really fast paced and remind me of DBZ. But im not a DBZ fan and would prefer just another ZOE with a bit more complexity, heh. Anubis must die, rawr. ZOE was great but just needed to be worked on some more. Too short and a bit too simple in my opinion. But apparently isnt there an anime on it soon? Well, i just want a ZOE2 with a longer story and just, you know, better. Id like a bit more complexity because a pro could be defeated easily by someone whose played for 10 minutes in versus.

Yeah, there is a ZOE anime, its pretty hard to find considering its only in Japan at the moment. I'm sure if you search hard enough you'll find the fan sub version.

Yeh, Anubis must die. But because Jehuty ran away from him, there is no doubt that there is going to be a sequal. I just hope that there are more weapons, bad bots, a more powerful Juhuty/upgrade, and a longer plot.

i got a gaempro mag. talking about the gba game and that they are making a ps2 adn gamecube dbz game, tha twould be cool, but all you hated xbox followers will have to wait quite some time, ha ha ha
