I used to be a Shadowrun player, a few yrs ago. I got out of it though, not enough people in the area wanting to play. The setting is one of my favorites, but at times the rules go way too in depth.

When you say Shadowrun, that reminds me of the game on SNES and Sega Genesis. I've played both of them and also own the Sega Genesis version. I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I'm just going to add in my opinion. The Sega version was quite addicting, while the SNES version was too linear for me.

Shadow Run is one of our groups main staples, the only thing i don't like about SR is that the older characters are around with the just starting characters, when i started my street sam, my first mission was with two other street sam who both had like 400 karma total, a ninja adept with about 550 karma and a grade 13 mage with about 1100 karma. so as you can guess i had a fun time of sitting at the table going "wow you really f***ed that guy up, good thing I was down fighting him" or "allright I just watch the door then", you know stuff to that effect. other than that Shadow Run is a very fun game
