Elf vs Moon elf bonus feats

Hello all,

I've just one question upon completing my first character. I'm making a Moon elf wizard. I'm only using 2 sources to make him, the PHB v3.5 and Races of Faerun. In the Races of Faerun, the bonus feat for the moon elf is the gift of tongues. But it also says that a moon elf has elf attributes as well. Does that mean I also get the elven bonus feats of martial wpn proficiencies as listed in the PHB? Would I get all 4 listed?

'Regular' Elves (from the PHB) don't get the bonus martial weapon proficieny for all weapons--they ONLY get proficieny with rapier, long sword, long bow and short bow.

Racial feat means they can get that feat because of their race--they do not get that feat automatically.

Basically, you're just going to be playing an elf from the PHB, as far as modifiers and abilities go; whatever is listed in the PHB under abilities is what you'll get.

And for your feat at 1st level, take Spell Casting Prodigy--IMHO, it's THE most important feat for a caster. (It's in the Faerun main book)

I feel like a dunce. I must have read it wrong in the Races of Faerun, I thought It was a bonus. I also meant that the regular elf only get's those proficiencies you mentioned. That's even better then. I get an awesome looking wiz with nothing to confuse me with Lol. Thanks
