Well, here's the deal...

I have a character I'm revamping that has 13's in STR and CON, and an 11 in DEX. She has 16's in INT and CHA, and a 20 in WIS. She's a cleric/paly of Tyr--what should I pour the extra point in to at 4th?

A higher Wisdom is always good, since she is a divine caster, but I'd need to put two points in to see any affect for it. Con gives me that extra hit point, which at a d8, is not bad to have...but Strength would allow her to carry more, and wear better armor?

What to do, what to do..

Are you a close combat type? Do your cleric use touch spells or ranged touch spell (Dex requirement)... Dont forget, 12 in dex gives you +1 in AC almost whatever armour you're wearing. And the range touch spell has a better chance of hitting. 20 WIS Waow! Having luck with the dices and NOT playing human are we ;)

I say it's the physical scores that counts for your Pal/Cl and may the grace of Tyr shine upon you,

I <3 aasimars. LoL

Dex, hm?

Well, I guess it would sort of defend on the rest of the party...the game that the charrie originated in, two of the four oarty members were rogues, and the other was a barb, so I ended up being the mid-way blade of cleric armor for our sneaky types, so I was thinking Con was looking most promising.

I suppose if a new group was mostly fighters I could put it in Dex...hmm...

Alright. I'm back. first off, I'm guessing your pally uses a sword, right? If she uses a bow, then pour it into dex. But 11 dex? your kidding me, right? You seriously need to pour stuff there. I have a rogue. They get d6 health. i think d8 is a lot. four it all into dex (if she uses bow), and str (if she uses sword)

here's my character. I'd like suggestoins, please!

Valiente, personaly I think dex or cha. the dex will alow you to have the +1 to your ac, while the cha ups some of your class skills.
moo_poo323, what part of your char are you asking sugestions for???

Name:Zaz
Age:19
Race:Half-ork
Class:monk/weapon master
Alignment: LN
Str: 20
Dex: 18
Con: 14
Int: 5
Wis: 17
Cha: 9
He's incredably strong, but the eight year old, chaotic neutral, psion in the group gets him in to a lot of truble. (like getting him to hiting the noble of a small kingdom, becouse the boy said he was lying and to hit the noble.) :rotflmao:

I haven't bother much with dex, because when you're wearing full plate, the dex doesn't help your AC any, and she's primarily a sword/shield fighter anyways. I'd have to pour two points in to make the charisma raise anything else, and I'd already taken a feat that let me apply my wisdom mod. to my divine grace. (Only took 2 level of paly--the rest is cleric). And con would up hit points, and also Concentration, which is mega important for casters.

Moo--Besides your elf being freakishly tall ^_~, I think everything looks good. Where'd ya get that bow, though? Specialty item? And with those stats, I would have prestiged into ShadowDancer. That's just me though =)

Psion's almost always get everyone in trouble, LOL, depending on how its played. Your stats look okay, but I would suggest going just for Monk, instead of multi-classing. After all, monks train to use just their fists pretty much, and going to weapon master is almost exactly opposite. Have you looked at the Ninja of the Cresent Moon or whatever it's called? They're mighty cool too.

Valiente the reason that I took some levels in the weapon master is becouse you can pick unarmed as your weapon and you can chouse to do your max damage for the weapon that you chouse at first level of weapon master.

then on your char id say go for con. you can stand more punishment.

Ah, I see. I'm not familiar with the Weapon Master prestige, so I apologize.

Yeah, it pretty much boiled down to "Do I want to do more damage or do I want to be able to take more damage?" Heh...so, con it is.

i agree with what val said. However. If you have extra feats, then you could make a fighter living off dex. make their dex like 28 (if you can), so that gives them a better AC than full plate. Plus you get better skills and such. And personally, you should create a prestige customized around your character. I have done it before for a fighter whos all hack n' slash. so good...... so good.....
