The reason they havn't used Mega Man is because they only put in character from games that only come out for Nintendo, and I beleive Mega Man has appeared on other consoles. Besides, he is already in the Capcom vs. games, I think.

The best one is Mega Man X for the SNES, but if you don't have that system then I guess your just can't play it; unless you download it from the computer.

Sonic is not in SSB Melee. This thread was made for people to list characters that they think would be fun to play as in a Smash Bros. game. It is possible Sonic could be in a third Smash Bros. if Sega allows it, but Nintendo hasn't even said that they are going to make another Smash Bros., much less decided what new characters to put in it.

heheh online yeah but if they did that then they would halft to add a store and a shop if it was just battling it would be lame to just go on net kicking ass and i still think Sonic and Tail should be in there they can add new moves just be creative

Megaman is totally different than Samus but I think Bass and megaman would be great as an IceClimber like Char exept you could press the c stick and change from Bass to megaman!!!!!!!! and if you were Bass you could call for Treble and if You were megaman you could call out Rush!!!!!!! I think that Link should be able to put on Masks and turn into Zora/Deku/Goron. Like Zelda/Sheik. That'd be awesome! ^^

I think some of the Sonic team would be great as well.

Gannondorf should be able to switch to Ganon when he reaches 100% or something.

And the Metroid should be an item you can throw and attach to people's head so it saps their health. :)
