What does everyone think of the Cel-shaded Zelda?
I still dun't know about it, hopefully the storyline will make up for the backstep in graphics.

Link's head is WAY too big and his eyes look stupid. But Nintendo have said they have no intent on changing the style :mad:

Anyway, what do you think about Celda.. yay or nay?

I hate the new look. I was hoping for something more like the early Gamecube demo that showed Link fighting Ganondorf. Those graphics kicked ass. The new look make me feel nauseous. I will rent the game to try it, but unless the story is extremly good, I will probably not like the game.

i agree with ya that the new zelda games looks stupid. what's with Nintendo changing all of the classics? Metroid prime should have been a 2D game not 3D!

Personally, i think nintendo is about to ruin another legend. Majoras mask was bad enough, now they want to make it even worst? We need another game like ocarina of time, that would almost convince me to buy a gamecube. (that and smash brothers melee)

OK. first of majoras mask was a good game. not as good as OoT. but was still awesome. just like Final Fantasy 8 compared to FF7. i loved 7 but i also liked the setup for 8. it just your opinion.

Personally i think "CELDA" will be great. its a change, and maybe not as cool looking as the Demo but i will buy it *if i have any money then! ^_^ *

Majoras mask was't that bad. The main problem was that they focused to much on mini games and skimped on the main quest. The game only had 4 dungeons, 5 if you count the moon dungeans wich were not nesisary to beat the game. The other Zelda games had at least 6 dungeons.

Oh, and what do you mean majinvegeta? I like the idea that Metroid Prime will be a FPS. There is no way it would succeed if it were a 2D sidescroller. However, you shouldn't feel down about it. Before Prime comes out, they are releasing Metroid 4 for the GBA, wich will of course be a sidescroller.

From what I have seen from the screen shots, the story is going to have to be pretty damned good for me to like it. I mean, a story so good that it makes Ocarina look like a nursry ryme.
