Geez....now i really think Squaresoft is outta its mind man.....this game kingdom hearts....such a stupid idea....Square with Disney....just what is squaresoft thinking?!?!?!?!I have noting against disney....i just think this is plain ridiculous!

this game isnt so much as a serious game, more a spoof, which i think is really overdue to make. all there rpg's are so serious, and all take themselves too seriously, though they are good, need to relaxe. ff9 did moresoe than others, and it did real good. but it looks good. come on, like any ff characters would beat goofey and donald:extra1: but the game looks good, and dont bag on it til you play it.

I just dont like FF8 cause towards the end it got boring to me and I started losing interest in it. Any game that is boring for me especially at the end isnt a good game in my mind.

Anyway, I have mixed feelings about Kingdom Hearts, it seems good, but, i doubt i'd ever buy it or anything. Square made it, but so did Disney...so confusing to my mind.

Yah, I do like my RPGS to be serious, but I dont play RPGs so I can see cool graphics or hear a good story, I play because I love managing my characters, and finding the best stuff in the game, regardless of hours of my lifeforce I've wasted doing so. But the story is cool to have while your wasting this time, and good graphics on the CG movies do make it better to get a feel for the story. And sad to say it, FF7 was damn good game, But FF 8 stomped it in the movie areas, and as far as i can see I do like the FF7 battle system (playing it first time through right now btw). I've played everything around FF7, sort of been avoiding it I guess, maybe cause everyone says it's the best. But playing all of the other FF games, I can see right now that it is by far not the best. Sorry to burst your bubbles hardcore ff7 freaks. But I do like the game, just not the best.

Anyhow Kingdom Hearts is looking , to me, to be kind of a beginner rpg for kids, or I could be wrong I do not know. But It still might be cool, I may rent it.

it did not suck! it had the draw, junction, and the card game. Not to mention the graphix and the entire theme. The characters suxed COMPARED to other FF's. I mean look at characters in other rpg's(shadow madness, Lunar,jade cocoon, ext) . And the plot got a little bad near the end...but most rpg plots are never good to begin with.

A mini game, oh, so special, and the junction was repetative and got quite dull. The characters could be just as strong when level 1 or 99 because of the junctioning. And the story couldnt keep my attention toward the end, IT'S THE DAMN END! Stoopid. Now Earthbound, THAT was an RPG, a strange one, but fun, funny, and Pokey's the most irritating villain ever. yup. anyway.

Earthbound better then FF8?! in what way? The plot was a joke and so were the characters. It was like pokemon. The battle system was too simple. FF8 had a awsome battle sytem. I already admited that the plot of FF8 sunk near the end. But at least it was good for most of the game. FF8 was a serious game about war and junk like that. Earthbound was a joke that someone dared them to make. I'm sorry but i don't see why evreyone likes earthbound. And the reason i keep defending FF8 is it was a good game (not my favorite) but when i played it i had all kinds of fun.

How can any of you dare speak bad of any of squares games without first trying it, I mean hey Kingdom Hearts does seem a little whack if you ask me, it makes you wonder what square has in mind for the future with disney. Maybe their just using this to get some great movies out collaborating with them in the future. Personally, I would like to see a square movie for Parasite Eve it would make a cool movie. As for FF8 or any other FF title, dont diss it each has its own significant points and all are great. I am the Lord of Fantasy and it angers me when fans argue over something as dumb as a simple feature.

I'm actually anticipating Kingdom Hearts a bit more than even Xenosaga. Perhaps that's an overstatement. The game appears to have style and character in spades and perhaps even a good storyline. I just hope Cloud and Aeris are a couple in the game and that Donald Duck degenerates into the cursing beast that I love him for.

As for the Aeris lady, I've crossed words with her before. Also, in reality she isn't right. Her opinion is based on character preference. To quote her: "I'll keep on saying what I like, thank you." But lets not dwell on that. Cloud and Aeris, always, the game says so.

I don't know if he is a villain, but I'm kinda hoping he is. His new design alludes that he might be and he's only been seen with other villains so far. On the other hand, it would be nice to see him and Aeris together. Bah, who knows. Damn you October, you're such a long ways off!

One thing is certain, Kingdom Hearts is going to a controversial game. And in my opinion, there's nothing better than arguing over petty crap like that.

That's what it appears to be. For example, Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie appear on destiny island, where the game starts. They teach you the baisics of combat through friendly sparring and toutorial.
Only Selphie acompanies you off Destiny Island.
Supposedly she travels with you a bit and actually battles as a member of your party. Saddly, you won't be able to control her or any other character besides the lead, Sora. So even if Squall and Cloud join your party, however briefly, you won't be able to command them. With that being said, the games battle engine seems to play out like a full 3d Tales of Destiny.

Perhaps there is nothing "weird" about wanting to play it. However, there definitly something strange about Peter Pan, Piglet, and that fat fish Flounder getting thrown into the same game as a skin showing Aeris, a Squall that shows pride in his lineage, and a demonic Cloud Strife.
It makes it an extreme leap of faith to trust Square to make this a good game. Hopefully faith will be greatly rewarded.

I for one, have Kingdom Hearts. It's not really that bad, and a whole lot better than FF8. I admit, it's a little different and weird, but that's what makes it cool. The battle style is sort of like brave fencer musashi mixed with ff7. Aeris is in the game though, but not with cloud. She is actually with Squal leonhard Go figure:extra4:

kingdom hearts is kool.. the ending is and intro is pretty kool and sorta long. And and theres gonna be a kingdom hearts 2 ^_^ , woah Riku look sO kool ^_^ he his platinum hair is a bit longer and he has a hood over his head and its black and purple and he kinda looks like a Jin Kazama from Tekken 4 mixed with Sephiroth pretty neat.. but kingdom hearts battle system is solid, its kool how the new battle system is and they have combos and even air combos ^_^ although the magic doesnt look that great but its kinda that they can do magic when they jump or while air borne. but the great thing to me is that you get to fight the all mighty Sephiroth, one on one battle against him... and some people think you need to be Lv.100 to beat him, all you need is the skill second chance and to be ectleast a minimum of Lv. 64... I like the music to in kingdom hearts cause the person who wrote the song and sang it is me and my girlfriends favorite singer Utada Hikaru, actually she likes her more than I hers haha. oh and cant wait till Kingdom hearts 2 comes out.. gonna get it ^_^

yeah, kingdom hearts is such a good game, its good for the squaresoft company to take chances, cause if they didn't , they'd make the same looking game over and over, like final fantasy, they'll just keep that going until, well, forever, but they go out and take chances, like the bouncer, a fighting game abouty a bouncer for a bar, what kind of story is that, and for those of you that have played it, i think its kinda wierd for all the places he visits in about an 1 hours time to beat it at the most, its and easy game, also squaresoft came out with a driving game called driving emotion type s, for the ps2, its like gran prix or something, but see, my point is that, squaresoft needs to take chances instead of the casual boring rpg, and they did with kingdom hearts, and it was a good game, had a good story line, and teenagers+little children play that game, some of the battles would be hard for little kids, but they'd get a kick from the story line. also, just my opinion, when i play it, reminds me of the days where i watched disney movies, word from vahn

Kingdom Hearts is a great game, I love it. Despite any misgivings I had, Square and Disney really pulled off a great game. The worlds fit together surprising well. And it also reminded me of how much I liked certain Disney movies and characters. Like Malificent, she was a great villian, perfect choice.

Anyway, I just beat the game. The final bosses were a push over at level 70 and with ultima weapon. The ending was great and I got the secret ending too (well....I think it's more of a trailer for KH2)

All that's left to do now, is load at that last game save and go whip some secret bosses. Here Sephy, Sephy...I got a nice Ragarnok for you.

Cloud isn't really a bad guy, he's with a bad guy and sold his soul, but he's kinda an in-between type char. And even though it did get kinda corney at times, it was still a pretty cool storyline. Sora's weapons change pretty often, and most of them look AWESOME (I personally like pumpkinhead ::giggles at name::). About KH2... ::singsong:: I know the storyline...WARNING: SPOILERS! Ansems report has yet another page... the heartless have grown stronger. Sora learns about his past, and how he is more than just the weilder of the Keyblade. Riku and Mickey are free, (Mickey looks awesome! So dark and...evil...) and Kairi is more than just a princess of Heart. Sora is lost, and the Heartless are taking over. That probably made no sense, but you can download trailers for it over a file-sharing program. I used WinMX

Kingdom Hearts...whats the word i'm looking for here...KICKS MEAT! I think all you morons making fun of the disney element should take a look and realize that it is a great idea! It fits with the storyline, as in it there are many diffrent "worlds" and each one is quite obviousky going to be diffrent. This shows the clash when those worlds are connected. "tied to the darkness" as ansem says it. Final Fantasy and Disney are so diffrent that they work so well together, and I think it was a great idea. If you hold some grudge against it because you think your too grown up for disney, I think you should play the game and realize how amazing it all really is. It's well developed, and really makes one think about life.
