Help w/moding please =)

hello all, I was wondering if anyone knows how I can go about moding morrowind with all the various patches and add ons out there, im in desperate need to bring this game back to life, I have morrowind and the tribunal. Another question is once you mod do you have to start over again or can you pick up your characters like normal and the add-on will normally take effect?? Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

On the autoplay menu is activated click on the data files area and double click on the patch files to add them into the game. They're applied to your game when you load it, but sometimes there are conflicts so be aware.
