what are the pros for buying a ps2?
what makes it better than any other system??

Besides the built in DVD and Being able to play Ps1 and 2 games,
I would have to say the major pro would be the games. I mean hey what we've seen so far is just a small portion of whats to come. Like the great RPG's lined up in the next year or two such as FFXI or Lunar 3 and maybe a few Breath of Fire titles. I say its worth having. Also the graphics are amazing {Not saying the old were'nt good, I mean hey I played my first RPG when I was about 3 or maybe 4 { Final Fantasy } and the graphics were pretty basic then.}

Of course we all grew up with nintendo, but here lately their games are scaring me. Look how bad they've corrupted Metroid I mean hey the new one is gonna be to much like perfect dark or doom, Metroid should be left the way it was. And luigis castle is a little out there if you ask me. I mean hey im at least gonna buy it to give it a chance, I heard they had a few Zelda titles due to come that were actually good like the old ones rather than the two 64 titles they werent that great.

i'd go with ps2 all the way. Nintendo just doesn't have many good games anymore. The original ones were the best. For ps2 the games are better,longer,and cheaper. I'd get one but i don't have any money:extra6:

I do still respect Nintendo for many great super nintendo rpg's but like I said these new games are out there and nowhere near as good as the older ones. Also seifer makes a good point the ps2 are better, longer, and cheaper. I can only urge you to make the right choice.
