If you have a campaign ready you can contact skidiwili and ask him to give you a room with a dice bot, also you can start a dice controlled pbp like this one

There a lot of rifts fans in rpgc just waiting for someone to start a game, then there's people like me who just want to know what rifts is and what the hell an O.C.C is

There have been a few Rifts threads here before, but they didn't draw much attention. I think a lot of people are interested, but don't know the system or the setting well enough to be confident joining in. Rifts is a bit complicated, which is one of the reasons I stopped playing it pen&paper. I love the concept of the game, but the system sucks.

The main problem with getting people together online who DO know the game is that the setting is so wide in scope, with so many options and books and levels of play, that four differant people could come up with four differant characters that are completely imcompatable. Someone playing a human wilderness scout isn't going to live five minutes rolling around with a gargoyle juicer. I played one character for six years and got him up to level 10 (which is high with my group) and a new player picked up a newer book and made a level 1 character that could squash my guy. The powergaming possibilities are rediculous, and a simple role-playing concept character just can't hang.

The only way to keep things playable is to limit the books used and the area of Earth the campaign is going to be run in. And, especially here, you're gonna get all kinds of arguments with people wanting to play their favorite character.

And an O.C.C. is an "Occupational Character Class," which could easily be simply called a "class," like every other game does. Another unnecisary complication.
