According to the official Nintendo site, Squar will make software for the Gamecube, but it may not be a Final Fantasy game. Why are you screeming about it? I am sure the FF games will still come out for the PS2. Oh, and X-box will die when everyone is tired of Halo.

well i only got X-Box, so itd be nice if it came out for box, and plenty of good games are comin for xbox too, gta3 and mgs2 are both comin to the box,
and theres jet set radio future, that games cool, and blood omen 2 is coming out for xbox

its kinda of funny. x-box has not one game that ps2 already has or had for a long time. And if they do a game thats theirs only then ps2 has something thats just like it except better.

And then ps2 has awsome games x-box can't match and won't have. If x-box had games, a better controller, and a online thing then it would be the ultimate system.

Anyway back to the topic: Snes had ff's 4-6 and they were good.
But when n64 came out sqaure jumped ship over to sony. I didn't expect for them to ever go back. If this is true then i am shocked.

yes, it is true, though as I said, the game they make may not be an FF one, though it is rumored to be an FF remake of 7, 8, and 9. But as I said, thats just a rumor.

Square working with Nintendo is not a surprise. But Sony does own a majority of Squaresoft. They got them out of their bankruptcy slum. So as far as FF being on the Gamecube, I hear that right now it's mainly thought and no credibility.

If it is, then that's fine! They used to be on Nintendo, but you can bet that they'll also be put out for PS2 most likely as well seeing as they're in bed with Sony. >_<

Hey soul, what's it say.....I dropped my long time subscription..{Since I was 3..}...when the 64 came out..{The worst system and games ever..}...I got tired of there being nothing but stupid 64 and pokemon stuff in each issue...cause I hate both.

It just said that a group that works for SquareSoft will be working on the Gamecube. They will make a FF game and FFTactics will be on GBA.
