Well I have been playing this game for sometime, i also just recently picked up Morrowind GOTY Edition. I just want to know if there are any rare weapons in Mournhold. (Or armor) if anybody can help it would be great.

Pffft... You can get a whole Glass outfit at ghostgate if you have the $$$'s but if you are a high enough lvl just go into the room with the one guy selling them... close the door... kill him... take the glass-ware then teleport outta there and pay the bounty on your head... ^__^ then you have yourself a full glass armour outfit & longsword & dagger (And the helm rawks!)

The Bipolar Blade is in mournhold, they'll be a charecter somewhere that you can play matchmaker with, depending on who you set this charecter up with you'll get different rewards, the Bipolar blade is one of the possible rewards.
There's a guy in the caverns under mournhold (accessed through the sewers) who has the robe of the Lich, they'll be a buttion in his lair that you have to press (this guy is really hard to beat).
You can steal a hammer from the mournhold museum, it's incredibly powerful. (Note: You'll need to taunt the guards here until they attack otherwise they'll see you and you'll get a major bounty, it's upstairs so you won't have to mess with the curiator, also remember to let the guards strike the first blow)
By following the main quest of Tribunal you'll get a rather powerful spear called the white spear.
In almost every deadric shrine, under the statue they'll be a collection plate, steel the stuff in the plate and at least one greater demora will apear, he'll always have a deadric weapon.
There's this wood elf near the temple in mournhold who asks for money, if you give some then say no (or you keep giving until you doesn't accept anymore) he'll leave, then next time he appears if you talk to him he'll attack you. He is by far the most powerful enemy in the game but he has incredible stuff (full suit of ebony armor).
And that's a few of the things that I know.

Oh man, there are a hell of a lot. First off, the Hammer in the museum requires a strength of about 500 to even be able to hold, because it weighs 1000 lbs I think. And it sucks anyway, it has 100 only before it breaks.
Anyway, follow through the main quest. Once you beat it, you get the Sword of Nerevar, which is my favorite in the game, because it looks cool and kicks ass. It's a unique weapon that is engulfed in flames, even as you walk. You also get it's twin, called Hopesfire (Something like that). I don't remember the name because it's been awhile, but it belongs to Almalexia, who turns into an evil bitch in the end, and after you kill her, you get her weapon. Those two are my favorite.
Other than that, yeah, the wood elf is definately the most powerful in the game. But if you're a decent level, and have very high speed and are good with the dagger, then you shouldn't have much of a problem. You can own him and he won't be able to hit you that often because of your attack speed. Don't cast on him though, he has full reflect, and about 700 luck. He has full ebony, other than the shield, and an ebony longsword.
The Robe of the Lich sucks. Get it just to get it, but don't use it. Not really worth it.
Also, when you follow the quest, you have to kill one of Almalexia's "Her Hand's" Ordinators. This guy is definately tough. Also full resist, incredible armor, and great weapon. If you're not careful, he'll definately kick your ass. But after you kill him, you get that BAD ASS armor. If you want the shield, then after you kill Almalexia, go into her throne room, and kick her servant's asses if you can. I suggest taunting one until he attacks you, so that it's no longer illegal. Take a shield. They're no longer needed in Mournhold anyway, cuz their master is dead.
Also, in the daedric ruin under Mournhold, where you HAVE to go anyway, there are a lot of things to get. But one thing, if you use levitate, and go up above the Dremora's throne, there is a door leading to a place with a VERY steap drop. But on top of the waterfalls there are a LOT of daedric items, including the plate mail (Somewhere hidden VERY well...).
That's about all I know of right now. BTW if you want to steal ANYTHING in the game with a GUARANTEE you won't be caught, then do this:
If the item is in a room where you can jump and hit the ceiling, then get on top of a table or whatever so that you can do so and be able to reach the item. Once you're set up, jump. If you jump higher than the ceiling lets you (Which isn't hard, just basically jump into the ceiling of the room by whatever means possible) you should get stuck for a second. During that second, the game is glitched to believing that you are no longer there, meaning the NPC's cannot see you. You can grab the item at this point, and you WILL NOT be seen. But you have to do it while you're stuck for a second in the ceiling. If you do it while you're going up, or start to fall back down, you will be seen.
So yeah. Anyway, easy stuff.

The first two are in the house with the guy on the roof (dedaric longsword, deadric claymore) secon in the house with the guy with the deadric s shield, ull find the daedric greaves on a shelf and he has the daedrc kananta. last but not leaste the daedric dia kananta is in house near the slaves and were the mini silt riders are.

If you're looking for Daedric crap (Shield and all weapons) then just get about lv. 20, which should take less than a day if you know how, and go to the Daedric Ruins. You'll find Dremoras (Common, rarely carry Daedric items), Dremora Lords (Semi-Common, usually always have good Daedric weapons), and Golden Saints (Semi-Common, usually carries Daedric, Dreugh, or Glass shields/weapons...Glass is usually most common). They pretty much always drop crazy sh`t. Although sometimes they have crappy Dwemer stuff. Just sell this crap to the Talking Mudcrab Merchant, or a merchant in Mournhold that has 10K septums. 10K is the most you can make off this junk, even though it's all worth like 100k-500k or more, because nobody in the game has more than 10K.
Bleh, but yeah. The ruins also usually have Ogrims, The lizard guys (Forgot the name) and the Alligator guys...also forgot the name, They usually drop Daedic Hearts...woth 200 septums I think. Sell them to any of the Alchemists.
Anyway, that's about it. Hope it helps.

There's a cool sword in Balmora: The Sword Of White Woe. It's in one of the guard towers, on top of a wardrobe.. I think it's the southeast tower.
Gnisis has another rare sword, I can't remember what it's called though. It's on top of the sign hanging from the overhang as you enter town. Hard to get to without cheating though.
