ive never really gotten into LARP, but what is it exactly? ive never bothered about it before, and would like to know. can you LARP any game? please explain it to me.

LARP=Live Action Role Playing

It simply means that instead of just saying what your character is doing, you physically act it out.

I would imagine that almost any game could be LARPed, though there are some games that have been specifically created for LARP, like Nero or AmtGard (sp?). Most White Wolf games also have varient rules that make them LARP friendly.

live action role play? like acting out DnD or something?..im assuming no real weapons are used..?

Yes, acting it out.

The use of real weaponry is strongly discouraged. There are some groups that use padded or special made mock weapons for fights; other systems do not use live combat at all, and merely carry it out like a table top game. WhiteWolf has developed their own system of combat and challange rules for their games.
