Charmellina was no real feelings about the councils decision. She had signed the wood knowing there was no other choice. She had never been one to ponder much on the inevitable and she wasn't going to start now. She was also not one of the ones who was interested in humans. She knew their were a few who were. All she knew was that it seemed they came up with new ways to kill each other every century or so. She didn't think that she wanted to know anymore about them. Any more knowledge might just be worse.

She now rested against a large rock. She saw her dolphin freind Vingilot swimming towards her. Vingilot clicked at her in greeting and said she was hunting so just wanted to say hi for a moment. Vingilot rested on the smooth sandy ocean floor next to her. She had taken care of Vingilot since her mother bottle nosed dolphin Undomiel had got caught by human contraptions. They were now close friends. "Oh, Vingilot I know you are not at all sad about this news." She smiled at her, "I wonder how the others feel. I am going to go speak with Ritalia about some things I will be back." With that she swam of towards the town in search of Ritalia.

She same over the houses and looked at all of her companions. She couldn't see Ritalia anywere so finally she stopped to talk to her friend Sarai. They were talking about the village houses and the coral gardens when she saw Ritalia swim by. She gave Sarai a quick hug "I will finish this conversation with you later. Right now I must excuse myself and go talk to Ritalia. It is important but I apologize for leaving so suddenly." Sarai quickly nodded, "Of course go I understand." She smiled slightly at Sarai, one of the few she smiled at, and then took of after Ritalia. Her powerfull fin pumping. "Ritalia! Wait. Where are you going? If you don't mind."
