Gilrean stood up to greet Finrod, but the man yelled at her to get in her place and this time she yelled back at him,"NO, GET IN YOURS!" She pushed him aside and hugged Finrod, she then whispered in his ear,"I thought you were going to be hers, I thought you were going to forget about me."He whispered something back to her and carried her out the box. Gilrean took a discreet glance at her father and even she can see from the other side of the castle that his face was as red as a tomato and he practically had smoke coming out of his ears. Gilrean walked past the lady and all the lady did was stare at her with tears in her eyes. Gilrean's mother came running to her ,"Gilrean, you and Finrod have to get out of here quick, your father isn't playing by the rules anymore, he's planning on setting up a group of his soldiers to tackle Fnrod when he's by himself."Gilrean gasped, her father was definitely out of his mind at this point. She gazed at Finrod and she finally spoke,"What will we do now, sweetheart?You know I'm up for anything you have planned."

Finrod turns to Gilrean and her mother. "Gilrean, you must leave with your mother. You must hide at the house of your head servant, you can trust him. If it's a fight the king wants, it's a fight he will get." Finrod said to Gilrean and then heads back towards the arena. He stoped and looked over his shouder at her. "I love you Gilrean. I've loved you since the moment I first laid eyes on you. I Will meet up with you at the servant's house when it is over." Finrod said and then countined on into the arena.

He walks right into the middle of the arena just after a match finished. Finrod looks at the king with fire in his eyes. "King Tinuval! You plot against me! So be it! I'm here, all by my lonesome, except now, everyone will get to see your deception! So send on your group of solders and then send yourself! Let us finish this once and for all!" Finrod shouted and then drew his sword, ready for battle.

Gilrean was led to the castle with her mother, but she couldn't help thinking about her love. When she got to the castle, she thought up a plan, maybe he needs help.She knew that they don't allow women to battle unless it was someone like Skye, so she headed to her father's room and started throwing on a load of armor.I'll just dress like a man and noone will notice me. She ran down the stairs and bumped into her mother,"Gilrean Tinuviel, I hope you're not doing what I think you're doing!" Gilrean just kept on walking past her mother and walked directly out the door. Gilrean was considering herself as Gilrono for now and she caught sight of Finrod and begam to run towards him, but then she remembered that she was to remain anonymous. "Hey, I heard that your name is Finrod, my name is Gilrono and I appreciate what you're doing for me,uh , I mean Princess Gilrean so I'm going to help you through this battle, together we will succeed." Finrod just had a smile on his face.Gilrean didn't know whether it was because he knew that was her or because he was grateful that someone was helping him.

Finrod looked at the warror that had come to his aid. There was something odd about the warror, he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Finrod didn't have long to decide on his partner, weather he could trust him or not, because right at that moment the small group of solder came running towards them. The crowd in the arena gasped. Finrod began running towards the solders with his weapon drawn, just like he did on countless battlefields. He colided with the solders and fliped one up over his back and then dove at another one's legs, knocking him over. Finrod rolled through up onto his feet and begain doing battle with the solders. He quickly killed several and begain fighting several more.

Finrod then remembered that he was not alone in the fight. He looked over at the other warror as he was fighting. "The King is mine!" he shouts at him and then directs his attention back to the solders that he was fighting. The King looked on, thinking that he wouldn't have to fight, thinking that his small group of solders would finish Finrod off.

Gilrean was fighting with the soldiers and her being a lady, was bruising easily. She was bleeding and she still kept on fighting until her side of the arena was down on the ground. When she finished, she looked at Finrod and he was looking at her too, they had botth finished and now it was time for Finrod to fight with the king. She stepped back, making room for the king to step in her place. " This is it, Sir Finrod, any last words?" Finrod just stared at him with an angry face that almost made the king flinch. Gilrean looked at Finrod wondering if he knew it was her this whole time or was he too busy enough to look at Gilrono's eyes and automatically tell it was really Gilrean.She watched as the king drew his sword and Finrod drew his.

Finrod fought Gilrean's father. The King of Warrors certanly lived up to his name, he fought well and he fought hard. Their swords clashed together over and over again for what must have been half an hour. They had also traded a fare share of punches and kicks as well, both of their faces were brused and bleeding. The number of strikes had slowed down dramticly! They were both so tired they could hardly lift their swords. But they were strong warrors, swinging away at each other with skill matched by no other. At this point, the whole kingdom was trying to watch the greatest fight in the history of Avalon.

It was hard to decide who was winning until Finrod got to close to one of the downed solders. The solder, with his all the strength he had left, thrust his sword at Finrod. The sword entered the back of Finrod's thigh and exited the front. The solder let go of the sword, leaving it lodged in Finrod's left leg. Finrod yelled in pain and cluched his leg with one hand. He blocked the kings strike with his sword and hobbled backwards. The king looks down at the solder. "You dare inpuin my honor!" the king shouts at the solder and then stabs him with his sword.

The king then continues to fight with Finrod. Finrod griped his sword with two hands once again. The king takes an over head swing at Finrod and he blocks it. Finrod held the king's sword up right where it was with one a hand and then spun around to the outside. As Finrod came back inside with the spin, he brang his sword across the king's belly. The king quickly bends over and falls to the ground. Finrod stumbles backward a few feet and then falls onto his back, sword still in his leg. The people in the kingdom stand up and soon begin chanting. "Finrod ArFeiniel, Finrod ArFeiniel, Finrod ArFeiniel,...". Finrod lay on the ground, broken and bleeding. As he hears the chanting, he closes his eyes and starts to laugh.

Gilrean carries him to the inside of the arena and talks to him,"Listen to me, you can't die...I need you." She pulls out the sword from him and tosses it aside." Look, we're going to live happily ever after, don't you want that?" He nods his head and she starts to kiss his face" What are we going to do with you?" She looks around as to see if anyone were looking" I"m going to find a cure< even if it takes my whole life< Oh maybe they sell medicine in the market we have to get to town" And she grabs a wheelbarrow that was laying in the corner and lifts him into it>

The warror that help Finrod ran up to him. He pulled him inside the arena. "Listen to me, you can't die...I need you." the warror said to him in a women's voice. "Gilrean?" Finrod said with a look of confusion on his face. Gilrean had risked her own life to help him. Gilrean then reaches down and grabs the hilt of the sword. "Don't touch thaAHHhh!" Finrod gets out of his mouth before she pulled the sword out of his leg. He was trying to tell her not to pull the sword out of his leg because it was keeping it from bleeding profusely.

Gilrean was so emotionaly shoot from having to get through this whole thing she was rambling about him not dieing and finding a cure. It was just a flesh wound in the leg!...He'd live! Then she helps him up and tries to put him into a wheel barrow. Finrod stedys himself on his legs and then grabs ahold of Gilrean's armor, grasping both sides of the breast plate. He pulls her close so that her face is right infront of his.

"Gilrean, my love...Don't ever pull a blade out of a wounded solder until he is in a position to get the wound fixed." Finrod said and then gives her the most passonate kiss he has ever given her...She was his now, and he was hers. Just then, Gilrean's mother apeared with a dozen guards. She had been watching the fight. "There he is. Guards, help General ArFeiniel up to the royal chambers to have his wounds cleaned and dressed. Nothing less will do for the future King of Avalon." She said. The guards came and helped Finrod. They carried him away to the castle.

Finrod had never thought about it until just then...If he maried Gilrean, the Princess, then he would then be the aer to the throne! With King Tinuval dead, that would make Finrod the king. Finrod didn't like the thought much. He was a leader, a General, not a ruler. However, Finrod would marry Gilrean reguardless, the rest would figure itself out...It always did.

Finrod was taken up to the royal chambers of the castle and disrobed so that his wounds could be taken care of by the surgen. Finrod had a few thick pieces of cloth wraped tightly around the wound on his left leg. Red could be seen on the front and back of the cloth. Finrod was fine now. His leg would be mighty tender for the next few weeks though. Finrod was given a fresh set of royal clothing. Finrod lay ontop of the King's bed, he was exsausted.

After sitting next to Finrod on her father's bed, she went downstairs to talk with her mother. Gilrean didn't know how her mother felt about her father's death. She asked "Mom..are you okay with everything,uh, I mean...do you want to talk about anything?" Her mother gave her a confused expression,"Honey,I told you many times before that my father forced me to marry him for the dowry, I didn't have what you and Sir Finrod have now....I didn't love him." Gilrean felt better because she didn't pity her father's death either." Mom, since I'm going to marry Finrod, doesn't that make him the new king?",Her mother smiled" That's right, it DOES make him the king!" Gilrean knew that Finrod didn't like the idea of becoming a ruler. She excused herself away from her mother and went upstairs to check on Finrod.

Finrod couldn't stop thinking about Gilrean, even as he slept, the though of her made his leg stop aching. While she was sitting on the bed watching over him, sound of her breathing soothed and relaxed Finrod. Finrod was still fast asleep when Gilrean came back up into the royal chambers, however, there was the wizzard of the kingdom in the room with him. "Awe, Gilrean! Come in my child." the wizzard said to her. He had disrobed Finrod inorder to work on him. Finrod lay naked atop of the bed while the wizzard was cleaning out his wound with a glowing blue liquid which would greatly increase the speed of his healing from several weeks into only several days.

"Quite a catch you have her!" the wizzard said while he worked. "Did you know many wizzards wait their whole lifes to see a high elf, but only a few do! This is truly a great honor for me...to not only see one up close, but to work on it and be able to actually touch it. I never would have thought however, that even though his body has absolutly no scars...he appers to be just as frail and delicate as us." the wizzard says to Gilrean as he finishes up. The wizzard wraps Finrod's leg back up with fresh cloth and then covers his naked body with the bed sheets. "My work is done here, I'll leave you two alone now." The wizzard said and leaves the room. Finrod was still asleep. He had sleep through the whole thing...He really was exsausted!

When the wizard left the room, she started to kiss his face all over, whispering in his ear"I love you and I promise to take good care of you!"She stopped and just stared into his face with a passion in her eyes. I wish you were awake, she thought, so I can show you how much I love you. She stepped out of the room to let Finrod rest and she went downstairs to check on her mother, but she had fallen asleep, so she went to the room where Finrod was sleeping in and she layed beside him.

Gilrean awoke to find herself wrapped in Finrod's arms.She released herself delicately and went to bathe herself in the (clean)lake outside the castle. She got out of the lake and went to the field, where she often went to think. "What about mymother?Won't she be lonely?"she thought aloud. I need to find my mother a caretaker to remain with her while Finrod and I live my life."Or maybe, she can live with us?.....I don't know what to do." Then a voice came from behind her "Sounds like you've got troubles." Gilrean turned her neck around and breathed when she saw that it was her former friend talking.Gilrean had nothing against her, but it seemed like she would try to take any man she was interested in whether or not he was taken, but she was so confused that Gilrean found herself talking about her situation but mostly about Finrod.

Although Finrod was sound asleep, he couldn't stop thinking about Gilrean. He could sewer that he could feel her lips pressing against his and his cheek bones and his neck and his forehead. Gilrean was the sole object of his desire! At one point, Finrod awoke to find Gilrean lay in bed next to him. He wraped his arms around her and just watched breath in and out so peacfully for what must have been an hour before he fell back to sleep.

Finrod awok finially. "Gilrean!?" he said, his eyes not open yet. Finrod sits up and swings his legs over the side of the bed. As he legs emerged from underneth the blankets, he noticed that he didn't not have any cloths on. Just then a servent girl came into the room holding a fresh set of royal clothing. "Here is your wardrob your highness." the servent said. Finrod takes the clothes. "I'm not the king." he said to the servent. "Forgive me my lord." she replys. "Your forgiven." Finrod said. The servent girl left and Finrod put on the clothes.

He begins to limp out of the bedroom and into the hall way. Finrod was surprized at just how little pain he was recieving every time he put weight on his injured leg. Finrod was unawar of the wizzard's healing potion that was rubbed onto his wound. Finrod wandered down about the castle, asking the servents if they had seen Gilrean. Finnally one of them told him that she was bathing in the private pond behind the castle. Finrod thanked the servent and heading out towards the pond. When he got their, he stayed quite. Gilrean didn't see him as he leaned up next to a tree at the edge of the water and watched Gilrean. Finrod still could not believe just how beautiful she was! She truly was the prettiest women in the realm. Finrod just watched her bath and thought about how lucky he was. The pain in his leg was a small price to pay for the love of Gilrean.

Gilrean regretted telling her 'friend' about Finrod, knowing that her 'friend' has taken every man she found interesting by his wife.Now she's probably going to try and take him from me, she thought. "What if he likes her...oh, what have I done? Why would I tell her of all people about Finrod?"she wondered aloud.Her 'friend's' name is Helena and she had already started to make plans about getting ahold of Finrod and making him fall in love with her. She was on the field tying herself to the pole that was supposed to be used as a saving device, faking her death so Finrod can help her.

Finrod watched Gilrean bath for what must have been a life time. He was however curious as to who was the woman talking to Gilrean. Finrod remained standing against the tree by the water's edge. He waited for Gilrean to turn and see him. He noticed that the woman talking to Gilrean had noticed him standing there...and was very interested in him to say the least, she didn't once take her eyes off of him as she spoke to Gilrean.

Helena was tying her body to a pole so when Finrod passes by he can see a damsel in distress.Instead Gilrean walked by and questioned her on what she was doing."No need to worry, I'm only trying to make my husband think I'm in trouble so he can save me....can you pass me that rope?" Gilrean bent down to pick up the rope when she saw Finrod, she dropped the rope and ran to him. She gave him a kiss and took him by the hand to leave , but that's when she heard Helena calling her. She was obligated to introduce the love of her life to a coniving thief."Finrod, this is Helena... oh, she's not really in trouble, she's only doing that for her husband" Helena looked at Gilrean in surprse," Oh dear, I said my brother not my husband, where would you get a silly idea like that?!"Helena looked at Finrod for his approval,"Kids these days." Gilrean shot her a face full of anger and said"Well, I guess it's time for the handsome prince and the KID to go home now!"She gave him a long and wet kiss right in front of her and dragged Finrod away. No way is she going to take him away from me, I've longed for us to be in eachother's arms for a long time and I'm not going to let the village tramp get ahold of him, she thought.

Gilrean ran up and almost knocked Finrod over. She kissed him and then introduced her so-called friend Helena who was obviously intregued with him. Helena was trying to make Gilrean seem like a fool in front of Finrod to get his attention...Finrod didn't buy it. Just then Gilrean pressed her lips against him again and give him a long wet kiss. She then dragged him away. "Umm...Nice meeting you, Helena, ...I got to go." Finrod said as she was draging him away. Before their reenter the castle, Finrod places a robe over Gilrean's naked body.

Gilrean felt Finrod place his warm robe over her exposed body.She looks at him and says"You know I love you, right?" She sees him smile and says something that made her laugh." I'm sorry I acted weird back there,it's just...I don't want to lose you",she said. Gilrean was starting to think a lot about the marriage and wanted to ask Finrod for suggestions on who to invite and decorations. So, she went into the room and slid on a dress and layed on his bed, outstretched and all over the place. She let her long hair lay in all directions on his bed and started smiling to herself.She scremaed "Dear, would you fetch me some water please?" When Finrod went to get the water, he heard a knock on the door. As he opened the door, he saw noone other than Helena."Hey you!"she whispered.

Finrod opens the door and to his surprize, sees Helena standing in the door way trying to make herself as suductive as posible. "Hey you!" she whispered. Finrod looks her over. "Hello lady Helena, Gilrean is in the bedroom if you've come to see her." Finrod said and then started to sqeeze passed her.

Helena says"Why would I come all this way to see Gilrean?"But Finrod just went on in getting Gilrean some water.Gilrean heard a knock so she went downstairs wearing her silky,see-through gown to see who it was.Gilrean saw Helena talking to her husband and immediately ran toward them."Helena...what are you doing here?!"Gilrean yelled. "Geez, no need to scream,if you don't want me as your guest then I can simply be considered Finrod's guest,"Helena claimed and gave Finrod a warm look. Gilrean said as calmly as she could "I think it's time for you to go, Helena, it's time for me and MY husband to be alone." Gilrean took him by the hand and walked next to him so that her body was touching his with every step they took.
Once they entered the castle she jumped onto him and started kissing him and then she stopped to take him to the bedroom.On their way to the room, she stopped at the servant's headquarters and told them that they had the rest of the afternoon off and they can go anywhere they wish except the castle.They all ran out of the castle while she threw Finrod on her bed and locked the door.
