Alex vs Aeacus Nevenda ((EoR, round 1))
The first matches of the tournament are on the way!
Both fighters will start in a large Coliseum, which once stood tall and mighty, now stood broken and weak. The large walls which surrounded this massive structure were beginning to crumble, looking as fragile as rice paper, only needed the softest of touches to cause a good portion of it to collapse. Stands worn away, no longer being able to hold the hundreds of citizens it once had back in its prime.
The floor was sand, not in the best condition for they were no longer cared for, but it would give good traction to the fighters, giving out the better advantage to those who went bare-footed. Large holes would be in the sand, from where Man-eating lions would have entered., and where the gladiators would enter. Below the Coliseum would be the holding chambers, an old broken down prison like structure where the gladiators were held, there was two large rooms in the prison with a long series of tunnels which lead to the edges of the city. As well, one of the rooms being the place where they kept the Man-Eating lions, when they were not needed for battle Of course, nothing but bones, chains, and rusty weapons were down here.
Surrounding the Coliseum was a large city, its streets were bare and filled with pot holes, and its buildings, while made of stone were smashed to the ground, the only few that were left standing would be just like the Coliseum, weak and flimsy.
Many painstaking hours were spent on this arena, conditioning everything to this exact point. This area will test the fighter’s ability to use their Settings to their advantage.
((Alex gets first post, Aeacus Nevenda gets first attack.))

Let the war begin
Alex made his way into the arena; he wore a large black trench coat with a hood attachment to it. The sun was blaring onto the ground making the sand underneath his feet warm to the touch. He carried in his right hand his scythe that was specialized just for him, by him. Alex Stepped forward until he was about half way into the arena, he looked at the stadium with disgust as this was not a warrior’s stadium. It looked as if bums should fight here but he understood why this type of arena was used, for the simple fact of being able to use it toward you advantage. Simple enough for him to use it toward his advantage, it was more in his favor for this battle.
As he stood still he turned his scythe straight up and down and had the blade hanging over his head as it was taller than he was. He stuck it into the ground so it would sit there by itself. He then went to unzip his trench coat; once he got it done unzipped he let it slide off his arms off of him onto the ground. It landed on the ground with a thud as it was an unusually heavy. Alex had his eye's closed at first and then opened them letting them see things more clearly. He stared at everything with his light green eyes; he felt the wind blow through his medium length black hair and his five o'clock shadow.
He wore underneath his trench coat nothing but a pair of baggy red karate pants with a black belt raped around it. He had a slight tan but nothing major and was fairly muscular with his four pack and bulging triceps. He wore no shoes though he did have black wrapping around his ankle and his feet. He also had fingerless gloves on his hand that were black that gave more damage to his punches. With his right gloved hand he grabbed his scythe back from the ground. He stared up at the blade as the light shined off of it back at him though not in his face. He then brought it back to his side the way he was holding it back when he first entered the arena.
With his Telekinetic powers he could use not only his scythe to his advantage but now the arena itself giving him a nice little idea to what to do for later. He had no idea about anything about his opponent but that he was up against him in the first around; hopefully he would be a worthy opponent. Alex hadn't been in an extremely good fight in a long time but wanted to get back into his fighting abilities and no better way is there than to kick someone ass. He then looked forward waiting for his opponent to find out who he was and what he was like. Alex knew that there was no way he would leave this fight dead but he knew sure as hell his opponent was, at least that is what Alex believed.

This should be fun
The male walked along in silence toward the large door which would lead into the coliseum. He would enter from the opposite side from which his opponent had entered. Aeacus appeared to be a Japanese male that was in his early to mid twenties. His slightly tanned skin and dark hair along with his facial features helped to give away the fact that he was Japanese. This along with his dark brown eyes. His hair was a bit long some of it coming down in front of his eyes. It had a slightly spiked kind of style to it in a way.
For clothing he was wearing a large blue coat which began at his neck and ran down to the calves of his legs. There was white fur around the neck of his coat and underneath it he wore a black T-shirt along with black pants and shoes. He also had weapons on his arms underneath the coat. These weapons were metal wrists bands which were of course on his wrists. It covered his arm starting from his wrist and going all the down to near his elbow where it stopped.
The metal was good for helping to protect his forearm and arm in general. Along with this there were metal spikes on the top of it which he could use for melee combat. His four knives were hooked to a belt which he wore while along with this he had two of his swords on his back. His sheathed katana hung from his back along with his medieval short sword. The wakashazi which he had with him as well also hung from his back but from a special strap which he wore.
It hung down in such a way that the handle was closer to the left side of his hip so he would reach around with his right hand to pull it out easily or simply reach back with his left hand to grab it. The man he was to fight was already standing near the middle of the arena waiting for him it seemed. Looking over at him he watched him closely while he began to approach him. His feet would carry him along at a steady pace. Reaching back Aeacus then pulled his katana out of his sheath and held it in his right hand while he continued to approach the other male.
Funnily enough he seemed to be walking along at a steady pace while he approached Alex. The entire time he made sure to not fall into any of the holes in the arena. Finally he would slow down then stop for the moment about fifteen feet away from his opponent. Standing there he would look him over quickly making a mental note of anything about him that may be useful as he smirked lightly and nodded.
This guy would be interesting that much was for certain. Personally the energy creature preferred hand to hand which was why he had his shield charged and ready to help protect himself from whatever the other might use. Some slight energy could be seen running along Aeacus’s body for a quick moment while he stood there and spoke.
“Well I’m not in any big hurry. You are welcome to make the first move if you would like too stranger.”
While he said this, he made note of the arena along with anything that might be to his advantage. Not much honestly but he would manage or so he hoped.

Alex watched his opponent slowly make his way into the arena, or coliseum, whatever you wanted to call it. He stared down Aeacus, he quickly came to realize that he was from a Asian background or something of the sort. He looked at him as he saw a large assortment of weapons on him, he had swords on his back his side, knives and hard telling what else. Of course there is a downfall to carrying so many weapons, it slows you down and Alex would take full advantage of this. Alex would also being very intelligent about his first attack as he watched the man start to glow.
“Well I’m not in any big hurry. You are welcome to make the first move if you would like too stranger.”
A smile crossed the face of Alex as he was offered the first attack of the match. Alex felt honored though he knew the real reason his opponent let him attack first. Defensive moves are easier to do than a first attack, at least most of the time this was the case but Alex had something in mind to make sure his first attack would be the only attack. He wanted to end this fast and he wasn't going to let this match go any farther than it needed to because there were more important people in this tournament than this man.
"If you wish me to have the first attack fine but you might have been better off attacking first. Oh well, it doesn't really matter now does it." He said with the same smirk on his face as before.
Alex walked forward so that his scythe was in more than good enough reach to through at his opponent. The smirk quickly left his face as he placed his left foot forward and brought his scythe backward so the blade would be facing his opponent. With a great amount of force he brought it forward and when it got to the point to right before his arm was totally outstretched he pressed the button on his scythe. He aimed it directly for the mid body of Aeacus going to cut his stomach open but then again that really wasn't the real attack of him move.
With his telekinesis he would make a cloud of sand right in front of Aeacus so he couldn't see the blade flying at him anymore. Though of course his opponent would know already were the blade was coming at and would knock it out of the way or dodge it but that was the point of the next part of the move. Which ever direction his opponent moved rather it be left, right, up, or down he would use his telekinesis to move the direction of with his blade was coming at. Though Aeacus wouldn't be able to see this happen because of the fact of the sand was in his line of sight giving Alex the advantage in this move. Also the blade was only thrown hard enough to stick into the male and not to cut through him so that way he could do more damage to the man.
Now if the man didn't move and went to block the blade he would move the angle of which the blade was moving from his stomach to the inside of the man's right leg making the blade cut it to the bone but not enough to cut it totally in half. Even though the fact that the sand was in his line of sight did not matter because he was using his psionic ability to sense his opponents movement, though this was only because he had time to, if he where close he couldn't do this because he would be to occupied. This was a very well thought out plan by Alex and he was going to use it to its full potential, his opponent should have made this up close but now he could keep him a far distance away with ease. Not saying that he would have done just fine up close but he had less chance from close quarters than far away.

Good stuff
Aeacus would watch Alex closely while he stood there and waited. For the moment he was about fifteen feet or so away from the other male. Currently waiting to see what he would do. Alex seemed happy enough with the invitation for first strike and apparently took it. Well maybe arrogant was a more accurate word then happy. Arrogance was something he never did care much for, but it was abundant enough it seemed. It was of course good of his opponent to tell that he was rather well armed however he likely underestimated how fast the energy creature might be able to move.
The knives of course weren’t that heavy and all of the swords were small swords. The katana was the longest blade which he had and even that was that long really. It wasn’t to say that he probably wouldn’t be faster without them but basically it was unlikely that the swords would be that much of a hindrance to his movements. There wasn’t any real reason behind his giving the offer he just kind of felt like it.
Honestly the energy creature was in an odd kind of mood today, so instead of fighting it, he was simply going along with it. A light smirk then played across his lips while he continued to watch Alex. Yes, this was bound to be fun. The other would then move to ready his scythe while stepping a little closer.
Standing there Aeacus then turned his blade so that the end was pointing down toward the ground while holding the handle firmly in his right hand. His left hand moved up in a ready position so that it could either help somehow or drop down to grab a knife. The scythe would then be thrown forward toward him with a great amount of force. A moment later some kind of energy would throw up a cloud of sand in front of him.
Telekinetic I think.
Aeacus quickly stepped back away from the cloud while keeping his blade at the ready, not intending to let it blind his ability to fight to much. He could faintly sense some kind of energy working for this attack but of course wasn’t positive on what it was or have the time to care. A moment later the scythe would fly out of the sand at him. Aeacus was already in a defensive stance as he pushed out his katana to meet the scythe. It was of course helpful that he knew where it was coming from. The scythe however would attempt to shift angle to cut him. However the main problem with this was the fact that the scythe was a scythe.
With his sword already blocking it the energy creature simply turned his wrist and shifted the position of the katana to hold against the scythe to hold it off. In the same movement he also stepped forward and let his left-hand move down. It would then attempt to grab the chain underneath the scythe that connected it to the pole.
Because Alex was already busy trying to push the scythe and shift position of it at the same time, it seemed very unlikely that he would have the time to instantly pull the scythe away before Aeacus could grab the chain. Along with the fact that he was multitasking in trying to keep track of how the energy creature was moving and having created the small sand cloud.
If the chain was in his grasp then he would simply stand there staring in the direction of where he sensed the other male. His sword would firmly be held against the scythe while his hand would hold the chain stopping the weapon from really moving. At this point if he had it, Alex wouldn’t have a whole lot of luck moving the scythe either. Aeacus’s natural energy shield served to shield him from a variety of attacks such as things that were high kinetic force and super natural energy to an extent. This included energy-based things such as psionic and telekinetic energy.
The area where he would have the chain wouldn’t be able to receive any more psionic energy. Along with this anywhere past it including the scythe wouldn’t be able to get much energy either with Aeacus having it closer to him by now. His shield would serve to help disrupt any energy that was attempted to be used to move it. Of course Alex would likely sense that there was some kind of field around the energy creature but would have no idea on how it worked or what it could do most likely.
Similarly the energy creature couldn’t be positive on what his opponent might be able to do. Though if he was indeed using psionic powers then he would probably have an idea of it at least. Either way if he had the chain he would simply stand there firmly on the ground in silence while waiting. His entire body would be relaxed. If somehow something happened then he would simply have to react accordingly.
“Hmm... arrogance could be coupled with something more impressive.”
Not really meant as an insult on his part it was more meant to just be honesty from his point of view. Somehow he felt for how confident the other sounded that he had yet to do anything to prove any reason to sound confident. Of course the fight had just gotten underway so perhaps he would see something. The other part of the reason probably that the energy creature felt slightly bored. It wasn’t really anyone’s fault it was just that he wasn’t interested in using his powers.
The thought of trying to grab the chain and shock the other had gone through his mind but that just seemed kind of lazy to him. He had two legs and some swords. If he was going to prove his skill then he might as well try and do so instead of using his powers in flashy attacks. For now he was probably just going to stick with his energy field unless for some very pressing reason he felt that he shouldn’t. After all it wasn’t like winning was a huge deal to him. Since he didn’t know much about these people, he was just stuck trying his best in his attempt too win.

I am going to end this now.
Alex watched as he threw his blade at the man in front of him, it glided through the air almost seeming to cut it apart. He concentrated his mind on his opponent’s movement but he realized he couldn't sense him. Aeacus have had to put some sort of barrier around him blocking telekinesis some how, it had to do with his power. He went to move the blade downward as it went through the sand he had used to block his eye sight to where the blade was coming from but it seemed to be to late as he couldn't control it. He knew that one of his many plans was ruined by this barrier and was going to have to think of something else.
Alex watched the sand fall to the ground letting his eye's gaze back upon his opponent; he did one of the things he was hopping for. He had grabbed the chain of his weapon but that damn barrier had stopped any way of him using the blade. Alex stared down at his opponent then his blade which then his eye sight feel from the blade to the chain and all the way back to his pole. He was not only planning his next attack but his anger grew within him. His whole plan was ruined and he wasn't going to let this be. He jerked a couple times on the pole and chain but realized that Aeacus had a good grip on it.
Then it came to him all at once, one huge ass diversion just for one simple move and now he would end this once and for all. Though he would let his anger consume him for affect, to make his opponent not realize his true intentions. He started jerking on the scythe more and then getting an extremely disgusted look on his face which would be followed by screaming of him wanting his blade back. What would happen next would show his full potential of his telekinesis.
As he pulled on the pull he would start ripping apart the pillars that held up the arena around them one by one. Alex was going to collapse the building around them since they were not under any they where safe from it. The pillars shattered as he continued to scream at his opponent and the building around them being as weak as they were started to falling to the ground. Though since the building was so big it was creating a dust wave and as more of it feel the more dust filled the arena. After the whole entire building feel around them the whole arena would be filled in dust and sand from the buildings with the sound of Alex still yelling at his opponent pulling on the chain.
Now his plan would start now as he grabbed his pole with his tk and started pulling on it like he was with his arms making it seem like he was still there. At the same time he would randomly grab around some rocks and throw them near Aeacus but not to hit him. It was a distraction to his real goal. His yelling stopped as he made a run toward his opponent still throwing some rocks up to boulders near his opponent. Alex grabbed his katana from his back and pulled it in front of him so it would be pointing at where his opponent was.
Alex was running close to the ground for more speed and he was also running close to the chain that he was still making look like he was pulling on. When he started getting close to his opponent he slammed a boulder right behind his enemy. Once he got in the circle he couldn't do anymore but it would be to late, the boulders would stop the chain would become limp but Alex would be right in his face with his blade. He would take it and shove it right into the heart of his opponent. At any time his opponent pulled out a weapon throughout this he would be in a position to push it out of the way and stick him any ways.

It seemed that everything had gone well, and Aeacus now had a very firm grip of his opponent’s weapon. Naturally this worked in his favor. From the looks of it Alex didn’t have a whole lot of weapons to fight with. Generally speaking having a lack of weapons in a fight was a major disadvantage. His shield seemed to be working well in blocking the other males telekinetic like powers which was good. Most likely the other male had thought that he had a major advantage. So losing it probably wasn’t something that had made him happy.
Standing there he would look directly back at Alex with his blade still in hand while he stood there. His left hand would hold the scythe firmly, while his blade would be held against it. For the moment the other male didn’t seem to say anything. Instead it seemed like he was plotting. Aeacus was perfectly fine with this though and would continue to wait in silence. A moment later Alex would begin to jerk on the scythe while yelling at Aeacus to give it up. Standing there he would remain quiet while pulling his katana off of the scythe.
The blade would be held at down his right side while he waited to see what was up. While the other male did seem angry, it seemed odd that he wasn’t doing anything. Something was possibly up but he wasn’t sure what. Noise would then be heard as pillars nearby were ripped apart and Alex would still be screaming but this wouldn’t completely distract the energy creature from what was going on around him as everything began collapsing. With this dust would be thrown up around them. He wasn’t sure on what the other male was doing as the dust was thrown up.
It was clear however that there was some kind of attack coming from all of this. Random noises would be heard nearby while the energy creature stepped back slightly. He was trying to distract him that much was clear. His opponent planned to use the dust and noise for cover to deal a lethal blow. Most likely with his sword since he could no longer use his scythe. That much seemed fairly clear now his only problem was what direction would he attack from.
While he thought that he might sense something from in front of him he had no way of telling for sure. One thing that he did realize though was that his opponent wouldn’t be making noise. Since they were fighting on sand, Alex would be able to run across it while making almost no noise. So clearly things falling down nearby would be used to distract Aeacus in different ways possibly. The chain to the scythe would still be pulled on like someone was there but he knew that this could be done with telekinesis as well.
This is ridiculous.
That was one of the thoughts that ran through the energy creature’s mind at his opponents huge show of power. Because he had no idea where the other was coming from he would simply go on the defensive. His body would kneel down a bit while his katana was still in hand. Body relaxed but ready to react while he kept his senses and eyes peeled as much as he could for an attack from whatever direction. A loud noise would then be heard in back of him like a rock was slamming behind him. He would glance back for a second then look ahead. Where was Alex...
Suddenly the male would come from in front of him to attack. Aeacus however was not defenseless. Thankfully attacking from the front would be the easiest attack for him to counter. The chain would go limp finally giving Aeacus the scythe. Since his hand was right underneath the scythe, he had a firm enough hold of it to use it. Alex would attempt to stab the other male. Since Aeacus was already kneeling, a bit compared to having been standing when Alex last saw him it wouldn’t really leave time to change the attack. The energy creature would probably react in an unexpected way though. The katana would fly forward piercing his chest as he moved forward a bit.
The blade would peirce above his heart cutting just under his collar bone. He wasn’t sure if his lung was damaged or not but didn’t even think about it. Instead he would growl in pain while moving forward against Alex’s attack. His body would be pushing forward along with Alex’s stab to help push the katana right through his chest. Did it hurt like hell, yes it did, but he would do his best to ignore all of this while doing his own attack.
Both his katana along with the scythe blade which he now held by the chain would be jerked up in a lower stab like attack. Both blades would be aimed directly for the other male’s lower stomach making them likely to cut through vital organs if either one found its way in. His arms would be down at his sides and brought up in the attack. If the katana did go through, he would then pull it down. If the scythe cut his opponent then he would twist it while roughly jerking it up either way either weapon had the potential of cutting up his opponent’s insides.
Because Alex was going for the heart and ready to push aside any weapons that might be pulled out in defense it would be presumed that Alex’s hand would be further up then down to help in the attack with the heart, and since he was probably expecting a higher attack from Aeacus much like the one he was making instead of a low aimed attack like Aeacus was doing. Not to mention he seemed to partially be going on where the energy creature was standing opposed to how he was now and how he was moving.
With the way the energy creature was bringing his weapons up in a kind of underhand low stab instead of direct or lunging stab for his upper body it would be difficult for Alex to bring his hand down fast enough to stop one or both of his arms before one or both of the weapons stabbed him like that. The scythe was a bit hard to use but still doable enough so hopefully one or both attacks would hit and end up being lethal. His opponent would still be busy with the whole trying to shove the sword through him thing presumably with all of this so it would hopefully be difficult to do something.

Lets end this
Alex ran forward with his blade sticking out in front of him being held in his right hand. He was following the chain of his blade so he knew exactly where his opponent was. The sound of rock falling and the fact that the ground was sand and he was bare foot made him almost seem not to be running at him. His opponent had no idea where he was it couldn't be possible. While running at Aeacus he placed his left hand along the right side part of his blade making it deadly accurate. Nothing could stop him now, within a second he would make contact with his opponent.
Alex came up to his opponent and went to stick his blade into where he though the man’s heart would be. Though since he was ducked the blade was off a little from the man’s heart. Another thing that had surprised him is the fact that he was not trying to parry his attack; this caught him off guard and by surprise. Alex knew what was coming and would have to act fast. The blade would sink into the body of Aeacus just above his heart; blood would squirt out onto him. He could see the pain in his opponents face, though he would be feeling a much greater pain.
As his blade dug into the opponents shoulder Aeacus took the blade from his scythe and his own blade and sliced at his stomach. There was nothing Alex could do but let this happen, as the blades stuck into Alex he let out a small groan of pain. His eyes would close momentarily as he cringed in pain; he had felt pain before but nothing of this caliber. His blood spilled all over the man’s hands, blades, and it also landed on the ground. Then he stared into the man’s eyes with a mixture of pain and anger as he yelled at the man.
"Fu*k you!"
He took his other hand that was off the blade and gripped the handle with it, now having to hands on the blade. He began to scream as he started to pull the blade down from the man’s shoulder into his heart. There was nothing he could do; not now he was powerless against this as Alex was powerless to stop him from ripping his stomach open. With his strength he would be able to rip the blade through the man easily within a second or two because of his strength. Also the fact that the blade wasn't to far away from the man’s heart helped also.
As he pulled the blade down, and during his screaming, blood spat from his mouth as the blades in his gut ripped him apart. They would both die there was no denying this the thing was that Aeacus would die before him, though it would only be by a matter of seconds to just a minute. He knew once he hit the heart his opponent would automatically die because you can live a few seconds with a hole in your stomach. Aeacus would lose at least for a few seconds until he died also. It was all up to the judges if they called it a draw or a win at this point, mattered if they saved him in time to call him a winner.

And what an ending it is
It was done, Aeacus had taken the hit, and now he stood there, blood pouring out of his upper chest near his collar bone. Naturally, it hurt like hell. Pain ran throughout his entire body while he would stand there now so very close to his opponent. It was funny really. They had started out this fight with a lot of distance between them as if they would never get up close. Now it was less then two minutes after getting up close and it was basically over already. Someone was going to die or both of them would. That much was already clear at this point, but he wasn't about to make a big deal over it. He was willing to take the hit to end this. After all if it was his time to lose and die then it was his time.
At least he had tried his best or that was how he felt any way. As soon as the blade and scythe would cut through Alex Aeacus would begin his movement. His left hand would move up moving the scythe as he cut it into his opponent. It would be roughly dragged up through him as far into the other males chest area as he could push it. Likely puncturing his lungs along with who knows what other vitals areas if it got far enough. At the same time the katana would be pulled down most likely slicing any vital organs it might have missed. He he would try to pull it straight down through the other male cutting his lower half in two if he somehow did. His head would spin; everything starting to seem kind of distorted.
Pain along with blood loss would take their toll on him. The other would cuss at him seemingly angry before he moved to ended this but he wouldn't care. Instead Aeacus would do his best to growl back at the other male while he tried to cut him up. The katana would be grabbed then pulled down through Aeacus causing him to yell out in pain while trying to continue his assault. His left arm would move up into the katana while it pushed down into him. Muscle easily parted inside of him as his flesh was cut away. Most likely his lung would be punctured along with his heart as well. His arm would help stop the other from simply tearing through him like paper but it wouldn't make a huge difference he knew that he was dead.
Aeacus might die first but considering all that the other male would have taken at this point hopefully he wouldn't simply count on that for sure. Having your heart cut right through or cut in two wasn't instant but it was almost instant. Of course having your insides cut out including your lungs was probably close to the same at that point. Then again he might die first but it wouldn't make a whole lot of a difference if he died before or after this guy. They both were going to die and Aeacus knew this. Of course he didn't know what this would end up meaning for the tournament which they were taking part in. All he would be able to do was somehow hopefully see what the end result would be. Blood would be spilling out of his chest and back. Running down from his coat easily so it could end up falling into the sand below tinting it a nice red color.
His pain would kind of fade while he became numb to the world. His head would be spinning with a thousand different thoughts while the world seemed to slow down. Both of his hands would finally let go of the two weapons while he began to stumble back. With this he would drop like a rock, falling back into the rough sand sending it up in a small cloud around him. Brown eyes would gaze up into the sky peacefully as he would lay there spread out across the ground. This wasn't the way he had seen any of it going.
That was life however... you couldn't really predict how a fight would go. He would have liked to say or do more. Somehow acknowledge the other more before it came to an end. The guy did deserve at least some credit after all. Aeacus was laying there on the ground as good as dead. There wouldn't be a chance for any of that thought. No chance for last regrets or much anger or insults. Instead there would be nothing but the feeling of pain and maybe some kind of odd freedom as it all stopped. So this would be it, the end.

The fight was an obvious draw. As both people, Alex and Aeacus died, who died last does not count as quite a bit of a win.
Though when getting into detail, Aeacus was able to not only force the draw, but seemed to have more control over the entire fight, without using an excessive amount of force. Using Alex's own powers and attacks to his own advantage, when Alex attemped to make these own advantages by himself.
This was a good fight, but someone has to win, and after a short discussion we have come to the choice that Aeacus has won, and moves onto the next round.
