Araba:The Dance and War(Mature and Voilence)

Araba a land of destruction and horror. with blood and death all around. The country in turmoil. The people are a disgrace they lose control easily and kill aimlessly. The only other country or should I say a small city just South of Araba was the city called Asjinia. There the city is ruled by a lord and had a daughter, who was a belly dancer.

The people screamed as the soldiers burned down their homes. She ran out and watched her father fight with his soldiers. She tried to help him, but a soldier picked her up and led her out of there. "Papa! Papa! Please come! Papa!" She had tears steaming down her face while the soldier took her away and put her on a horse with a young lord. She was only ten-years-old.

The buildings were burning all this remained in her memories and her father being slaughtered by a bunch of soldier. The young lord made her turn her head around and made the horse gallop away from the city. Her mother galloped nexted to the lord and looked at her. She was emotionless. The nexted thing she knew was that her mother's head was cut off. "Mom! Mother! No! No!" She screamed with tears going down still, then she saw the warrior that had killed her and her father. He wasn't human but a demon bounty hunter.
The young lord kicked the horse really hard, its winied, but raced off. The warroirs attacked the demon. She was soon unable to take all the blood. She was brought to the small city called Asjinia. She was taken off the horse and brought to a throne room. The lord there smiled at her and she bowed. "Please child don't bow. I am your uncle. You are welcomed here." She looked like a wreck and a young lord came out.
He looked at her and smiled, she hid behind the warroir that rescued her. She noticed that the warroir that brought her here was not human but vampire. It was night time and she screamed and backed away from him. He bowed and walked away. She was led to a room and there she was living with her unknown uncle in this beautiful city, but she still had those images of the horror.

Bio: Born and raised in the city of Araba, he lived with his mother and two brothers; he had no father for he had left his mother for another woman of high authority. He was the oldest of the three so he was responsible for protecting his family and he did so the best he possibly could.
One day when the city of Araba was under attack and taken so easily, a nation that had been divided amongst itself, forced into slavery along with his family, he and his family was sold to a band of demon slave holders. They faced cold nights and harsh working conditions. His brothers died because of the cold and froze to death, his mother was later sold to other slave owners because of her elegant beauty and they needed a female to breed with their male slaves.

After about a year he Dontes grew stronger and his skills of a warrior and an assassin became unmatched, he was able to single handedly take down his slave driving masters and break free from his slavery, thus began his search for his mother at the present time he was seven teen and a year had past until he found her,

When he found her it was not the way he wanted to find her, he herd her cries and screams as he ran to through the fields to a clearing were he had found her naked and being raped and taken advantage of by all of the male slaves, six to be exact. He carried a sword and took matters into his own hands, he used his sword and killed every single last one of them, killing the young boys along with the oldest of men, he left none standing for he wanted the habits of the old not to be passed down to the young.

His mother was like a doll for she was badly hurt and her ability to walk was disabled for the time, he helped her dress and he took her within his arms and took her away, walking mile after mile to the east until they embarked upon The Unknown City, they settled down so she could heal and he could rest and regain his strength, they had been there for all of thirty four days before the city was under attack by demons once again.

Once again he did not come out with what he had entered with, he and his mother managed to escape they left with their bodies but only he left with his life. He had held his mother in his arms, while she was in her last moments of life, she had struggled to breath as she placed her right hand upon the side of his face as she spoke her last words and the very last word she spoke rang in his head and never stopped and left his mind, she had said for him to “Live.” As she died and fell limp in his arms she had a look of peace about her face with all of her youth and beauty upon her, he later buried her in the city of Asjinia.

He vowed to avenge her death along with her brothers’ deaths, for he had made up his mind to slay and assassinate every single demon that he had seen and came in contact with.

The celebration was for the feast of the gods. Noelle, she felt honored to be dancing for the Lord, her uncle. The other four girls, two on each side danced with her. They copied every move she moved, she dancing beautifully to the music. The music flooded the hall of the small sized castle and the ladies and lords watched them dance.

Once she stopped, so did the other girls, the lord clapped. She bowed and ordered the girls to follow her out. "Now we shall, have one more performance by my neice alone before we eat." the king announced, smiling.

She came back out holding a sword in her hand and didn't smile. This time she wasn't going to belly dance, but do a dance her trainer taught with a sword. She sighed and started to dance, moving the sword as if it was her arm. Once the music stopped she bowed and left. "Now we may eat!"

She came out and sat on the right side of her uncle and started to eat food. She drank some water and ate slowly, not paying any attention to the crowd that sat other tables eating as well. "Uncle will you want me and the girls to dance after dessert?" Her uncle looked at her and smiled." Yes if you would dear."

Personality: Sarcastic at times, quick witted and can be very calm in a time of battle. Exteremely stubborn and extremly short tempered when it comes to guys.
Appearance: Mid-back-length straight black hair, crystal catlike silver eyes, catlike ears with rings around the entire ear exept where they're chipped,pale sort of skin and vampire-like fangs. Wears a form-fitting black shirt with long sleeves that flare, baggy black pants and thick black boots.
Weapon: Double-tipped triggered spear (the sharp parts can retract and extract at either end)/ nearest blunt object.
Powers: Can some-what control storms, though her powers can get out of control, she can take the complete form of both a Cat Demon and a Vampire at will - chooses to appear half.
Job: Surviving
Alleigence:Asjinia
Bio: Her past is a mystery even to her, she will every once-in-a-while get a flashback, but can never piece it together. She remembers slight things about her mother (demon) and her father (vampire), and can even presently be forgetful at times. It is believed she is cursed to forget her past, and if anything comes close enough to revive it she forgets it too - Kyra denies the thought.

His heart was racing and his breaths were heavy and shallow as he held his shoulder in the darkness of the night, “You will never kill me you worthless petty little human being!” a voice yelled from the shadows of the night, it slowly stepped out into the open revealing itself once again, the ten foot giant had a sinister like smile that stretched from ear to ear and eyes the had fire burning with them, its red full body armor was one of a kind it covered him from head to toe, it only left open its neck for attack. The demon took off his helmet and dropped it upon the ground he held a great sword that had a blade that was at least six feet long,

Dontes looked at him and shook his head his breathing was returning to normal and a smile formed upon his face “that were you are wrong!” he broke out into a mad sprint with his two swords in hand “this is were you die!” he yelled out and gave a war cry, his pace quickened to a rate so fast that his movement were unseen and all that was left of him to see was an after image that soon faded away, The demon searched for Dontes and turned around quickly and raised his sword in the air and grabbed hold of his blade with his right hand and took a knee "got you! Petty little boy!" they demon yelled, for Dontes was coming down out of the air with his swords drawn in front of him ready to slice through the demon’s armor and take of his arms off with a mighty cleave of his swords.

His two blades collided with the great sword with a loud clang sending sparks flying in all directions, Dontes’ two swords broke the great sword and separated it into three pieces and continued on through and embedded themselves in the demons arms embedding themselves in his flesh after cutting through its armor. Dontes smiled as he watched the demon yell out in pain as its dark crimson blood flowed from its body and the demon soon fell to his knees, for his arms were of no use to him anymore for he can not move him for his nerves were severed and so was the muscle within, he then picked up from the ground the hilt of the demon’s sword and he drew it backwards and trusted into the demon’s throat, the demon then began to rise up to his feet but Dontes quickly kicked it in its chest and it fell backwards onto its butt.

He then reached out and took his swords from the demon’s shoulder and held them in both hands and spread his arms wide and did an cross slash through the demons neck decapitating it. He shook his head at the now fallen demon and turned his back and walked away, as he walked the tall now headless demon fell over onto the ground.

He was outside of the Asjinia once again his breaths were shallow as he walked slowly knowing that he must seek shelter before to long, the wound upon his arm was overwhelming for it had not stopped bleeding. A cool breeze blew through the surrounding area and it lifted his white blood stained cape and filled his cowl, he shook his head as his he walked into Asjinia seeking refuge, he took a step into the center of the city and collapsed by the fountain that water flowed freely from, he attempted to get up but had not the strength to get up so he just laid there and soon passed out.

Personality: Straight forward in what she wants. Not very shy, can be suductive at times.
Appearance: Wavy brown hair that falls around her shoulders. Bright green eyes. Pale skin. Wears tight black pants with a short long sleeve shirt.
Weapon: A long slim sword she keeps at her side.
Powers: Just the powers that come along with being a vampire.
Alleigence: Neatrul but if somebody asks and they need an answer Asjinia
Bio: A traveler she hardly ever stays in one place too long, unless something interests her. She loves toying with guys and has fun just messing around.

Syra was walking along the street in the city, all of a sudden she thought she smelt blood. "Hmm...smells good, better go check it out." She grinned and made her way towards the smell, it got stronger and stronger the closer she got. The smell overpowered her, she loved blood, even if she had already ate she still loved it. It was bitter sweet. She came upon the fountain and saw a guy laying down next to it, bleeding from his arm. She moved closer curious now, what had happened to him? She looked around scanning the shadows, who did it? Was it still around? After she made certain it was safe to approach she moved slowly towards him, ready to defend herself incase he attacked. Though she thought that would not be happening.

She sat down next to the guy and brushed his hair away from his face, "Oh, he's a nice one." She said to herself. Smiling she cupped some water and poured it over the wound to rinse it, she then got some more water and splashed it on his face. "Time to wake up."

Kyra sat in an alleyway a short distance from the area of the fountain and from the hall to which the party was at. She could both hear the music and the people speaking, and smell the blood.

Being only half vampire, Kyra did not pursue the bleeding victum - or at least not until she caught the scent of a vampire along with him. Despite herself, she stood up and began walking in their dirrection. "-to wake up..." She heard the girl say as they came into veiw, Kyra remained half in the shadows.

"What a kind thing of you to do, helping a poor traveler." She told the girl mockingly, leaning against the building nearest to her, the same mocking state appearing in her luminous eyes.

Bio: Kereth is a third generation Vampire, and as such is very comfortable with being a creature of the night. Becuase most humans refuse to deal with Vampires, and he only occaisonally sees other bloodsuckers, Kereth spends a lot of time painting. He travels a lot, and loves to stay up to see the sunrise and sunset, despite the pain it causes him.

Kereth watched the three figures from one of the many rooftops that were in close proximity of the fountain. His legs dangled over the gutter of the same building that a half-vampire female leaned against, his eyes fixated on the activity that was going on below him. He had been sitting there since the man had arrived at the fountain, waiting for a different, healthier human he could feast upon to come to the aid of the injured man. No human came to the man's aid, and what did come shocked him slightly.

It was rare for him to see another Vampire, and yet here were two, although he suspected that the cat-eared one was only part vampire. It suprised him that they had yet to even taste the man, considering the fact that he was bleeding profusely. His eyes travelled up to the sky, where the moon was high in the night, before shifting back down to the cat eared one when she spoke. Her mocking tone brought a slight smile to his face, as he was thinking a similar thing. He stretched and yawned quietly, waiting for whatever reply the other vampire might think of.

Noelle noticed something was going on out side. She turned to her uncle, who was enjoying his meal festival. She sighed and shook his shoulder to get his attention. He just laughed as his son told him a joke, then he looked at Noelle.

"Uncle, I'll be back, there is something I want to check on." She got up and walked outside of the castle grounds and into the city. She looked at all the buildings, stalls, and homes. She saw nothing, she walked a little further, to see the center fountain of the town.

She had her sword at her side in its sheath. She went up closer to find three figures. A man and two girls, they weren't humans, except the man. She went up to them slowly and looked at the guy and saw he wasn't awake. She pulled out her sword and on her arm, she had a tatoo, which had a smybol of that said she was of royal family in Asjinia.

"Hello, Vampires, nice night isn't it?" She put away her sword and smiled slightly. She went up to the man. "Is he ok?"

He felt water upon his face and stirred a little yet he did not get up, the sound of voices in the air flooded his head, he stirred a bit as he returned to reality slowly, he groaned in pain and agony as he made an attempt to sit up but pathetically fell back down, he then made another attempt to get up, this time using his hands as supports he managed to sit up, he placed his hands upon his legs as he sat and used them for support as he swayed back and forth and from sided to side, still yet to open his eyes and see all that was around him, he spoke softly to himself while still in pain from his wounds “What happened?”, he shook his head to shake off the feeling of grogginess and pain as well as the water that dripped from his face, it worked for the most part but he still was in pain.

He slowly opened his eyes to while looking down at the ground it was dark out and he saw legs and he looked up to see two women, they were standing before him, he turned his head just a bit to see one had been sitting beside him, startled he got upon his feet the best he could, he was a bit wobbly for he had lost a great deal of blood from his wounds, he took his swords in hand and held them in front of him yet at his sides, he did his best to take a defensive stance “who are you?” he said with a somewhat shaky and stern voice, he was ready to defend himself the best he possibly could, he thought to himself “I got to get out of here!”

He took note of what the women looked like and one of them that stood looked nothing like the other two she was dressed completely different like that of a higher class but he was not sure at all who she could be, he took note of the other two and their attire the looked like normal commoners with a some what abnormal pale complexion, he began to gather theses things in his head as he watched the women, it was dark there were to somewhat pale ladies, "Vampires!?" the word shot in his head and his eyes narrowed and he stopped wobbling and shaking and stood firm.

Bio: Kenda was born in Asjinia and was brought up within the palace walls. Her mom was a maid in the palace and taught Kenda how to belly dance before she died. Kenda dances to get more money and to have fun. The king appointed her as the personal assistant to Asjinia when she was nine years old. Her mom died when she was sixteen. Her dad is a soldier of Asjinia. She hardly ever sees him but when she does it is a lovely reunion. Her dad is the only family she has left. He will soon retire from the army. Noelle and Kenda have grown really close since they first met. They dance together when doing parties.

Syra jumped and turned around staring at the half vampiress. "Me? Nothing just enjoying the night here." She stared back at the woman. She looked startled as yet another person, this time human. "Nothing is going on and yes he is fine," she then muttered under her breath, "what nosey people we have around here."

She looked down as the man awoke and said:
“What happened?”.......“who are you?” he said with a somewhat shaky and stern voice, he was ready to defend himself the best he possibly could, he thought to himself “I got to get out of here!”......."Vampires!?"

She smiled down at the man, "Vampires, yes, I suppose that is what I am, her also. Though I do believe the other is human. Don't worry your safe, I wouldn't attack with all the onlookers," she said with a hint of sarcasism. She once again looked at all the others. "Going to stay here until I leave right? Afraid I might harm somebody?" she stood and shook her head, "Well since I am so clearly not wanted here, I can leave. Even though I harmed nobody, I mearly woke him up, is that a crime?" She grinned at the others and the man. She over acted a bow to the human, "Please forgive my helping out an injured man." At that she turned around and began to leave.

Kyra looked somewhat concerned, taking a few steps twards the guy, before chatching herself amd standing where she now was, about three feet out of the shadows and looking angry at herself for coming farward. Though something in her eyes still showed some concern.

"What's a highclass bi- I mean, girl, doing out on such a lovely evening?" She asked in turn to Noelle, having to catch herself before calling her something unkind, and speaking in a fakely sweet voice. "There might be something out here that would hurt you..."

Momentarily her gaze flickered back to the man, more in thinking he was going to be lying on the ground or attempting to fight than really anything else. "Don't look like I'm going to attack you..." She told him, noticing how he was now standing firm and looking as though he thought either her or Syra were dangerous.

Syra was walking away, thinking of where she will go to feed tonight, she was starting to get hungry. "That man would have been a nice meal," she said to herself," why didn't you feed?" She sighed, oh well she thought, can't cry over a missed meal. She scanned the area wondering where to go, she looked back at the guy and the two remaining girls. The girl would be a nice meal, though for some reason she felt she was off limits. She saw how highly she acted, unafraid. Somebody would hunt to the death, whoever harmed her.

All of a sudden the wind changed and she caught a smell on the wind. It was another of her kind, she looked around, looked down the streets and alleyways. Nobody. She scanned the rooftops, she thought she saw something but wasn't sure. She moved along quicker trying to decide if she should go after the stranger or relieve her hunger. She moved into one of the alley ways, into the shadows. She sat down and waited, some idiot would happen by anytime, and when they did she would grab them, she was really starting to get hungry.

Noelle looked at the vampires and just smiled. "I seem well you have a good evening," She said to Syra, who was walking away. She turned her attention back to the man that was standing. She walked up to him slowly. She frowned while she looked at him and how hurt he was.

"You are injured, such a foolish thing to do, to just fall down here. If you want you can come with me to get treatment on those." She turned her gaze over to the other vampire girl, that was slightly hidden. "You can come out. I know it must be strange to see me out here. Who are you?" She looked at the vampire closely.

"I am Kyra, as if it is any business of yours." She replied shortly, taking full step into the light of the moon. "And if all you're going to do is stare at us, leave." She added, looking up sideways at the one watching from the rooftop.

"But you have no reason to call the boy foolish, the world is dangerous outside your safe little manors, I don't think he came here by choice." Kyra told the girl, turning her attention back.

Kereth yawned again and sighed, growing bored of the events that were being played out before him. He had expected some sort of feeding here, but the male had lost too much blood for his tastes, and he wouldn't even think of touching the female human. He wasn't sure if any of them had noticed that was up there, but he was growing hungrier as the night waned.

Pushing himself up off the cold hard roof, he silently said good bye to those beneath him. As he started to move away, he noticed that the full-blooded female vampire was leaving as well, and he watched with more than slight interest as she moved. She stopped, and he could've sworn she looked up at him. Before he could be sure she had, she moved again, dissapearing in the darkness of one of the many alleys.

Fueled by his curiosity, Kereth started forward towards the alley. His boots crunched loudly on the gravelly rooftop as he jogged into the darkness. He came to the edge of the roof and peered down, searching for the other vampire. He planted his hand on the gutter and lept lightly off the roof and onto the ground, groaning slightly as he hit the ground with a loud thud.

"I'm suprised you didn't take the time to enjoy a meal." He called quietly into the night, brushing some of his hair back out of his face. "Although I'm sure that if you had tried to sample the female, I wouldn't be talking to you now."

Kereth's teeth gleamed in the moonlight as he scanned the alleyway for any sign of his female brethren.

Kenda looked around the palace after the dance for Noelle. She finalli spotted her with a guy who was on the ground. She also saw two other figures with them. "Hey Noelle what are doing out here?" She ran to Noelle then noticed that the two other figures were vampires. "Noelle we shouldnt be out here unattended by soldiers. There are dangers out here." She looked at both vampires then down at the guy on the ground. "Oh my, is he alright?"

She smiled and walked out of one of the shadows, she looked at her brethren, "Lets say I was feeling, nice, but that's gone now. I'm hungry, just looking for a good dinner. Your right about the girl though, I don't know what it is but there is a big sign on her that clearly states she is off limits. Though I would love to know why. Feel like joining me for dinner?" She grinned barely showing her fangs.

"Oh, by the way, I'm Syra, what may I call you by?" She shook her hair out of her face and looked at him. "Well, like I said, I am hungry, the night is drawing on and I plan to feed here quickly, so if your coming along you have to keep up." With that she turned and was off, laughing she ran down a connecting alley and climbed up the wall she came to rest upon the roof. She looked up at the moon smiling. "Wonder if he is going to follow?" she looked down into the streets not seeing him. She frowned. She sat down on the edge waiting to see if he made it up.

IC: Noelle put on her cloak, still smiling. She sat on the edge of the fountain. She put her hand in the water, letting her hand sway back and forth in it. She looked up at Kenda, then back at the silent stranger.

"You know your in no danger," She said to Dontes."We are fully willing to help you take of those injuries and give you shelter. Unless you perfer like walking out in the streets, while there are vampires." Her face was now expressionless and she looked at her friend, Kenda. "I think he'll be fine." she still looked at Dontes and waited for his answer.

She pulled her hand out of the water, she picked up a pebble and throw it at a wall. She listened to the small tiny noise it made. She yawned, she wasn't leaving until he answered, though she knew that there were the vampires still near by here, in some alleyways.

Kereth smiled when Syra stepped out of the shadows. The first thing he noticed were her bright green eyes that showed deep intelligence, which were framed by her wavy brown hair. Her response made him chuckle, and her continual talk about feeding made him even hungrier.

"My name is Ke-" He began to reply, but she started to run before he could finish. He rolled his eyes and began to walk the opposite way, back to the fountain. When he got to end of the alley he stopped, and glanced back towards the direction she had ran. It was probably just the fact that he didn't often meet other Vampires, but Syra piqued his interest, as well as his hunger. His mouth broke into a grin and he turned around and began running after her.

Halfway there, he took a sharp right past several rats, before turning left and continuing straight, which would lead him right behind her. The moonlight shown bright through the alley on his quick form, and he quickly caught up with her.

His feet slid across the gravelly ground as he tried to stop, and he ended up a few feet in front of her. His lungs expanded and contracted quickly, taking in as much air as possible. "You sure are quick Syra.." He heaved.

"But I think I will take you up on your offer for dinner. In answer to your question, my name's Kereth. Kereth Alosar." He flashed her a smile. "Now let's eat, shall we?"
